Yeah, they're quite beautiful, but after a few hours of listening to them outside my window at times, I have to close it.
Some people hate their squawking, but I love it. They aren't that chatty here, maybe an hour at most, but I understand if it gets to be too much.

I am happy they are still around here. So any opportunity to hear one is always welcome.

Autumn is the season when the fledged offspring learn that the free ride is really over: not only do they have to round up their own food --as has been the case for awhile during summer-- but now the parent birds start to drive the youngsters away from their own preferred winter feeding grounds.
