Deja you!
there is a 2000 band Snow Patrol who made a 17 minute song called Lightning StrikesSome killer songs in that list... Absolute monsters.
Will add one more to the list... Iron Butterfly's "In-A0-Dadda-Da-Vida" B-Side... I can remember just putting that one the record player, sitting back, and losing myself to the music. Same thing with Pink Floyd's Animals, hell, any Pink Floyd album for that matter.
Some of David Bowie's music from that era - mid 80s - was exceedingly good.
I love David Bowie. Some of my favorite Bowie tunes...Some of David Bowie's music from that era - mid 80s - was exceedingly good.
Thanks for reminding me to listen to this again.
Love Derick and the Dominos. You might like this guy too.Nothing compares to the raw, soulful (indeed painful) rockin' blues of the Layla Sessions.

Bonamassa is awesome. However, my heart belongs to the trailblazers like the Velvet Bulldozer, EC, SRV, and (deviating a little more away from the blues) David Gilmour -- all of whom are extraordinary emotive players.Love Derick and the Dominos. You might like this guy too.

You might enjoy "Stairway From Heaven" by Led Zeppelin as well. It's from the group's fourth album. Also, you should give "Hotel California" by the Eagles a listen. These groups are from the 1970s, when the music was real and innovative.WOW! Thanks for posting this, I had never heard it before.
