A bass player and percussionist came over for a rehearsal this afternoon, and the bass player put on this track. At 0:28 when it slows down to 1/2 time, we all made a verbal "Oh!" exclamation, as you might when you listen to it... Anyway, this is absolutely WILD!

That Gary Wright album brings back some good memories of my high school days in 75. Dream Weaver was all over the radio in Montreal.

Same here. 10th grade. When music was actually worth listening to.
Agreed.

Even those years that you had thought (at the time) that had only managed to produce what you considered to be nothing but mediocre musical dross, turn out to have given us some excellent melodies and some seriously good lyrics.

One of my top ten favorite James Bond main themes as performed by Duran Duran. It holds the distinction of being the only Bond theme to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and was the last single recorded by the band until their 2001 reunion.

The theme song from Infernal Affairs, which was remade as Martin Scorsese's The Departed. The song was performed by the two lead actors of the film, Andy Lau and Tony Leung, and also recorded in Mandarin.

This year will be the twentieth anniversary of this Martina McBride country single, which reached number one on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
