It's been 18 years since their last album release, and an almost equally long time since the one before that. But they're here, again, and they sound... like they've always sounded.
The chick in the back of a red convertible, riding thru LA, is cool; and the AI-generated "concert" clips of the band, from most of their previous millenia (save their current fossilized state) is even cooler.

For some reason they chose LA over Hackney as the location for the video . Sad to see Charlie missing from the last billboard shot.

Well, I didn't take you for a Miami Vice fan.

Hidden depths, or should I quote Walt Whitman ('I am large, I contain multitudes') instead?

In truth, some of the episodes were very good; in any case, I loved the lighting, the cinematography, the production values, and, above all, I loved the music, and not just the excellent soundtracks of sometimes superb (and contemporary, at that time) music, but also some of the haunting electronic pieces by Jan Hammer.

You can probably guess who my favourite character was: And no, it wasn't one of the pair pictured above.

It's a good watch with some fabulous chemistry, just pointed the media server to the same 👍👍👍

Fair enough.

In truth, I find (or, have often found) that movies of a TV series I had enjoyed rarely have the richness of characterisation - let alone proper roles for the supporting cast (such as Castillo) - or depth of narrative that you will find in the TV series.

And, all too often, in such situations, the female roles are reduced to something so clichéd it is almost risible.

Not here, this is a good one. Has a run time of over two hours nor does it drag. Only one way to find & see...
