I can easily say I'm not a kiss fan at all, their setup, and MO seemed too performative and I really didn't like their music.

With that said, RIP Ace Frehley, I wonder what goes through people's head when they get close to the end. For Ace, like a number of people he had the world at his beck and command, legions of followers, more money, fame and lavish lifestyle, but its all gone as you turn the corner in life.
Kind of reminds me of Steve Jobs and his decision to not get the simple pancreas surgery that would have saved him. All his money and fame couldn't make up for that bad decision. I still miss him...😪

I had forgotten about this one; one of the most intensely-crafted synth-pop albums of the ‘80’s. The lead singer had a bit of an effeminate delivery (NTTAWWT), but the rhythms and music were all so staccato, very few held notes and no drones whatsoever; and every note seemed to be a different sample or patch. I loved listening to it. Here’s their big hit (folks my age will recognize it):

For some reason reminds me of this "King of Pop". Maybe even a little George Michael.

One of the Caesar's favourites when some time traveler (Doctor McCoy from the Enterprise , the Doctor, or maybe Starlord) had them listen to Tears for Fears on this magic device.

Latin lyrics included.
Finally had some time to listen to this, and I got a laugh out of it! Definitely pitched way down (no issue) and in high school I actually took a year of Latin (still in the Top Three Biggest Mistakes of my Life), and a lot of the lyrics flew over my head.
But it WAS a fun listen!

Memento hoc: Omnes optant mundum regere!

BTW, check the channel out, the guy did a lot of other covers in Latin (Major Tom for example) and in other languages too. Quite fun!

New discovery for me, thanks to the Dead Wax ewetube channel. Incredibly dense and precise vocal harmonies, kind've a country-rock-CA sound. Turns out it's a brother-sister duo; having been raised in the Donnie-n-Marie era, that kinda raised the "ick" factor for me, but the music is very good.

Nice song, I read up on them and they come from a musical family. Their grandfather is rather famous!*

*The force is strong in him.

Listening to one of my favorite albums of all time, Aretha Franklin's "Amazing Grace," recorded live in LA in 1972. Specifically, my LP digitized recording of it. I digitized my LP of it over the summer so I can listen to it up here in college. What a treasure!

Listening to Bach's Inventions and Sinfonias - or as I used to call them when I was young, "interventions." Always been curious about the lesser-known ones. Of course we all know the ones in C major and F major, but the D minor Sinfonia is really great.
