I hate threads like these on forums cause I go chasing down YT videos that I’ve found over the years. There is so much great music out there!

Gotta give a nod to these kids because they absolutely rock and they cover The Who’s timeless anthem, “Baba O’riley”

I attempt to announce a new album on this thread by a classic rock band or solo performer I think needs a listen.
because there really is not that much support online or in media anymore.

You asked for it:

This was Hella/Hallo-fun! Loved the TH reference in the middle.
The last band I was in closed our shows with this song. I was the keyboardist, and a patch in my latest synth said to me, "Ooh, this is the opening acoustic geetar riff to this!" It took me a couple minutes to figure it out (a flatted 2nd wasn't a common figure in any music, but I soon figured out that both Metallica, and Slipknot, used it to great effect). I played that riff at the next rehearsal, and by the end of the week it was a permanent song in our show, soon moved to the closeout position.

Think I've posted that I never was into streaming until a year or so ago, when I bought a streamer/DAC for my home system.
I started college in '78, and was suddenly exposed to so many different forms of music (I grew up on an isolated farm in SD, dug my Mom's big band records, my Dad's trad country radio not so much, and did get into Chicago and the Doobies via my AM radio). I couldn't really afford many albums, but by my sophomore year I had a nice stereo in the room with a cassette deck, did record a lot of "Greatest Hits" albums from bands in the 60s and 70s, but not a lot of "landmark" albums that were not GHs.
Now, I'm making up for lost time, listening to a lot of older classic albums that I never recorded or even heard: Zepp, Stones, Joni Mitchell, EW&F, Beck, ToP, Hendrix, maybe I should post the list I'm keeping in Apple Notes.
I did have most of Elton John's albums, being a bar musician pianist myself, but this one had escaped me until 3 days ago:

...and I've listened to it a couple times a day since. Wow, this is great; I've always considered Goodbye Yellow Brick Road to be his masterpiece, but this one is right up there. Most songs on this album could've been singles.
So, sorry about the blablabla post, but I'm really loving this album.

Nice album. My wife is a huge Elton John fan and I enjoy him as well. Also just got a streamer and signed up for a Qobuz trial. This is one of the first albums I streamed and it was 24/192. Sounded "Fantastic". I own the SACD, multi-channel and stereo. I want to compare but unfortunately I needed to advance exchange my streamer after 2 days and my replacement was supposed to be delivered Thursday yet is still in the Louisville UPS limbo. No complaints, lives are more important than my new toy.

I'd rather listen to my LPs but i've no good space, and no decent turntable system, to set up anywhere.

A friend bought me a cheap turntable a few months ago but I've nowhere to set that up.

Right now in Neural X a YouTube Video “Deep Brain Massage Healing For Stress”.

I’m fighting to stay awake 😛. It’s amazing to listen to with a 7.1 system and I have 3 subwoofers going.
