The first Devin Townsend album I bought (on an impulse, after hearing "The Fluke") is Terria. I enjoyed it immensely, and so did I with every other album I bought. I'm sure you will as well.

This guy is a genius. I just lack adjectives to describe how much I love what he does.

I like everything from electronica/ambient to metal. I've heard his name a lot, but never really bothered to look into his stuff. That track was awesome... I'll probably pick up the Deconstruction/Ghost box and take it from there.

Thanks!

Good school, I assume. How has Lipscomb changed? You still have to go to chapel and take bible courses.

live music shows....?

I went there from the fall of 1982 to the spring of 1984 or so...
I was one of the first male folks to actually have an earring... true story.
got called to the deans office about it. such a big stink over nothing. of course I don't wear it anymore. almost always had to be told to cut my hair. i hear now they even let guys grow beards. they didn't back in the day.

and man did i hate chapel. my roommate and i got in a lot of trouble cutting up during chapel.
