Pet Shop Boys - The Truck-Driver and his Mate from Bilingual.

Nice choice. The 'Boys' have put out some wonderful music over the years; they're so much more than "West End Girls" and "It's A Sin." Their latest album Yes is a return to form, and I totally dig the track from it called "Pandemonium."

...Now back to the subject at hand...
Now playing: 666 "Amokk (Techno Edit)".
Before that: Dead Or Alive "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) (Metro 7" Edit Mix)", from Evolution: The Hits.

Trivia: Pete Burns looks totally wicked, almost alien, in the video for this version of the song. It was shot just a short time before his lips forcefully rejected the collagen he had implanted, so his lips look insanely large in the video. Pete later described the whole situation about his lips, in graphic pictorial detail, in a television special he hosted about the "horrors" of plastic surgery. It took nearly a score of surgeries over a span of eighteen months to reconstruct his lips, and prevented Pete and the rest of the band from properly promoting Evolution.

Vertical Horizon's album Running On Ice. It's rather good.

Amy Winehouse

Just because Jaro is listening to Amy Winehouse right now doesn't mean that Amy's his #1 artist of all time. Besides, MacMaster, this thread isn't about judging other's music picks. It's about exploring the near-infinite realm of music.

I'm sure some people are looking at my Dead Or Alive selection a couple of posts back and laughing their heads off. So be it. "It has a good beat and is easy to dance to..." :D
