My iPod decided to spend some time in Deutschland this morning.

I was in my teens and 20s in the 80s, so I'm simply revisiting stuff I loved back then.
I usually stay pretty current, but every once in a while, it's fun to go back.
Since he's a DJ, I doubt he has any need for "pipes".

Yeah, pretty much. You get bonus points if you can teach yourself to play the occasional Roland supersaw trance lead over a bed of rhythm loops in ProTools.

Hmm, not bad, not bad at all. Funny thing is, my "Now Playing" track below is somewhat of an early 80s predecessor to Tangram's style.

Before that: Punjabi By Nature "Dancing With The Rainbow", a bhangra-fusion track from the independent heyday of MP3.com (before Vivendi Universal bought it).
Man, did I ever love the old MP3.com-- there's no telling how many free trance and Modern Synthpop tracks I got from there. I actually purchased a few albums, too.
