Yeah, I dig it. The track you posted, "Confetti", is similar in tone to Camouflage, especially "That Smiling Face." Other songs from this album borrow significantly from New Order and The Cure.

This could blend into a Modern Synthpop DJ set with tracks from The Echoing Green and Faith Assembly quite easily.

I've been playing Tron: Legacy Reconfigured all day. Gotta love those remixes

+1. I'm not a fan of all the remixes, but in general I wish Daft Punk had leaned a little more towards this set of sounds on the original soundtrack. Ah well, they are both good in their own ways I guess.

Now playing: Level 42 "To Be With You Again", from Running In The Family.
Before that: Provision "Sacrifice", from Evaporate.
And before that: Guardians Of The Earth "Starchildren".

And while participating in a parallel thread (Rebecca Black-related), I've listened to the following in the past few minutes:
Pato Fu "Made In Japan", from Isopor.
And before that: Pizazz! "Pizazz (Gonna Give It To You)". I beg of you, PLEASE do NOT click that link unless you can handle unprecedented levels of over-the-top cheeziness that makes Samwell look straight by comparison.

Now playing: Raymond Wave "Above The Rainbow (Club Edit)." (A trance track from the early days of MP3.com.)
Before that: Howard Jones "Straight Ahead", from his latest album Ordinary Heroes.

I just received and am now listening to the second limited-edition remaster box set from my favorite artist, Howard Jones. It includes The 12" Album and Action Replay (the latter had never been released before on CD), and a bonus disc with several of the original remix versions featured on Howard's 12" vinyl singles over the years and a couple of unreleased mixes. All were remastered by Howard's keyboard tech/live synth controller/programmer, Robbie Bronnimann, from Warner Bros.'s original analog masters.

Yes...80s synthpop goodness!

(I managed to snag the first box set, Human's Lib/Dream Into Action, before it sold out. Yay me!)

TV on the Radio - Nine Types of Light

I don't know if I was especially in the mood for TVotR today or what, but this album is just amazing.
