"Black Sea" by XTC love the production:cool: And "Abbey Road" ditto. George Martin is GOD...:D:cool:

I'm a classic rock freak. Right now I'm listening to Jethro Tull's Stand Up on vinyl.

Still on Coldplay, revisiting a few other old favourites, (and nice to see others on this thread enjoy them, too), but this time from an earlier album - "Parachutes", and the song in question is "Trouble".

Some playlist constructed by Genius on its most recent tour of my belongings... a "Chamber Pop" mix, no less.

Man, who besides Genius even knew i had this stuff...

1. Time to clean out the back corners of my library.
2. Why some of these bands can't find some fx besides reverb.

Generally Genius does a good (and improving) job with its picks from other genres. Can only blame myself for what it came up with here.

Now playing: Jean-Michel Jarre "Oxygène 8", from Oxygène 7-13.
Before that: Corona "The Rhythm Of The Night".

Ah, Jean-Michel Jarre and Oxygène - great stuff and wonderful listening.....

Reading your post has prompted me to trawl through almost forgotten vaults deep in my iTunes library; so, now Mike Oldfield's iconic "Tubular Bells" is playing as I write...

Now that's some absolutely awesome electro music! It's funny how the electro music scene is totally dominated by the French.

I agree with you; have you listened to Air (another one of my favourites?)

"Moon Safari" is brilliant, as is "Mike Mills", "Alpha Beta Gaga", and, from their more recent albums, Pocket Symphony and Love 2 (listen to"Tropical Disease", "Love""Missing The Light of Day" and "So Light Is Her Footfall" from the latter).
