I'm 16 and I'm saving up for a 13" MBP. And a truck. And a house. And lots of other things.

If I had a pair of shoes that expensive, I couldn't wear them. I would have to put them in a safe or in some kind of display case in my house. :)

If I had a pair of shoes that expensive, I wouldn't wear anything else and I don't mean that I wouldn't wear any other shoes. I mean that I wouldn't wear anything else at all and I'd be butt-naked with only my expensive shoes on.

If people stared at me, I'd say "Yeah, but these shoes cost more than everything what all your family's wearing. And stop calling me a douche."

Saving up for dorm room costs. Crazy to think that, for the price I'm paying to stay at the school's dorms (in Detroit) during my remaining semesters, I could very well buy a house there. Of course, any house in that range would be surrounded by abandoned lots and kind of iffy towards getting emergency services out there, but still...

A Hackintosh to replace my current one, need some better Aperture performance. The Xeon really makes my RAM choices limited and the motherboard isn't really suited to PCI-E graphics cards (I had to butcher the 8400GS x8 pins for it to fit.).

If I do it in one month I can get an AMD Phenom, Core 2 Duo or even a Quad, but if I use 2 months, I can do something with an i5 and really do it justice. (An AMD would just represent a lot of unnecessary work too...)

I think I want to get more serious with photography, so I will start saving for something around the 10-20 range, a faster Telephoto lens and an external flash. Next month I'll also be getting a 50mm, not really saved for it, but coveted one for a long time!

Long term, saving to move to NY.

Hmm... i should try something like that. Doodle on some shoe and sell them for ridiculous prices. I would probably be able to upgrade my computer then.. and maybe get that car I've been wanting.

Yeah! The resale price was $69 dollars. So it's like making almost five grand out of thin air. I have a few half grand pairs of shoes in my closet that I'm waiting to be worth a little more.
