I follow the instructions outlined at Apple.com and enjoy excellent run times and long battery life. Their site is very comprehensive and valuable to anyone serious about getting the best out of their Apple gear.

I plug in my iPhone every night because I need to start the day off at 100%, everyday.

Somedays when I plug in my phone at the end of the day it is under 20%, some days it is not under 20%.

No method here like most have said, however, I typically won't charge until its at 20% or less but when I do, I have crazy OCD that kicks in and I won't take it off the charger until it gets a full charge. I've stayed about 20 minutes longer than necessary at work because me phone hadn't finished charging! :)

I have had 10 iPhone and each and everyone gets plugged in when I go to bed and unplugged when I leave in the am. That is all and it has worked perfectly for me. Even if Apple says to drain it down, I have never and just use the phone and door worry about it. If my 5S died, I would just go and get another.

It is a phone, a tool that I use for my business.

Whenever it's convenient to charge it.
I plug mine in every night regardless of how much charge it has because I like to start the day with a full charge. Occasionally I charge it during the day if need be. I haven't noticed any adverse battery affects from doing this and my phone is currently a year old.
Pretty much the same: whenever it's convenient and/or actually necessary to charge it. Often ends up simply being overnight, but also topping off a bit during the day occasionally.

I don't like to leave mine on the charger over night so I charge in the AM then use it as needed during the day and plug in on my way home. This is during the work week.

On weekends I still only charge in the AM but I typically just use it until it gets low like 20%.

well, when i am near a charger i plug it in. if my phone is dying and i need it.. i plug it in. not habits, common sense.

There are so many different myths and rumors out there on what the best way to charge your phone is. Some say let it drain to 20% and charge, and some say just charge it at 30-40%, then at 20% once a month. So, what do you guys do?

You should ignore what everyone else does and do what Apple recommends.

I usually stop at 90% and never charge to full
I never full drain my battery.

It's OK that you do that but it isn't necessary.

I charge it before I go to sleep but I make sure I it dies once a month because apple says to.

I can't find it but I did read it somewhere on the battery page on apples website.

Yes, because those sneaky folks at Apple removed it and replaced it with their current recommendation (at the link above). They now simply recommend at least one full charge cycle a month (100% use of battery and then 100% charge). I still have a hard time not intentionally letting the battery run down once a month.

A complete charge cycle does not mean use 100% then Charge to 100%
A complete cycle can be done over several charges and discharges.
Also states this only need to be done if you don't use the battery regularly. Basically just use the iPhone and charge it when it needs it.

Correct. I was lazy. I've put this same information into so many battery threads I should just put it in my sig or something. ;)

I plug mine in once I get home from work, no matter the percentage (usually, by the time I get home, the battery is around 10% or lower). When I'm off, I charge it whenever it gets to 20%. I stopped caring about what percentage I would plug the phone in anymore because the battery on it sucks anyway, so I charge it almost everyday at 5-10% battery life. I have no way of charging it at work, so the battery lasts me (sometimes) the whole work day and will have to wait until I get home for me to charge it. It does drain a whole lot faster than usual, but even so, still lasts me enough for the whole day.
