Honestly, I almost expect bugs to be the main feature of iOS 9.

Unless Apple does what I want them to do, and makes iOS 9 mainly a speed and bug fix update.

iOS 8 is so mucked up with bugs and annoyances I'd be happy if Apple would simply do their job and sort out the mess. They've got plenty to do to get 8 running smoothly.

If they decide on another "significant upgrade" to IOS 9, there's a good chance they'll bury themselves deeper. Time will tell. But then again their denial may prevent them from realizing that.

Or... If their serious about producing good work like they're capable of, the end result could be very impressive. There's no doubt that they're certainly able to do the job, it's a matter of will they?

FREAEKING MUSIC APP IMPROVEMNTS!! Up next would be great, and air playing to multiple speakers would be great.

iCloud Drive should have an app, that you can move files around, rename and then open in an app. Mail should be able to open files in icloud Drive to send them, and it should be able to save documents to iCloud Drive. Safari should be able to load documents from iCloud Drive and save files to iCloud Drive.

A more customisable Control centre would be nice. At least allow settings to load from the control centre.

More gestures would be great!

Most importantly performance and battery life improvements would be great, especially on older devices.

A new default Music app for starters.

IMHO, the way we move icons around on the same screen is OK, but from screen to screen is very awkward (for me). If you try to move an icon over two screens all the icons shift and it sometimes doesn't want to go in the right place, etc. It seems to give me a hard time crossing "screens", like there is a physical speed bump there making it more difficult. When you download new apps and have to move them into place, it's a real pain. I do like the way Android does it better. A more cut and paste like option would be better, instead of dragging the icon over and through already organized apps. Maybe sorting options per "screen". All games go on screen 2, all social apps go on screen 3.

Anyway, I would like that revamped.

1) Mobile data toggle in CC
2) DnD custom days
3) Fix the bloody UI issue when opening folders on iPhone
4) Fix the Shift key issue, still not happy with what we have right now
5) Dark theme for iOS
6) Signal dots back to what they were, bars. A little annoyance, takes up too much space.
7) "Close All" for all apps in Multitasking.
8) And of course, a lot of bug fixes and speed optimisations.

A dark mode like Yosemite.
Mobile Data toggle for CC.
iCloud Drive app (or a decent iCloud Photo Library).
Remove carrier name next to the signal dots.
World clock widget.
Move the recents from multitasking to a phone app widget.

Yeah, minor stuff.

And iPhone 4S support :p
