That and the fact that you have to have an iPhone with it. A simple earpiece and a watch would've made the Apple watch a desirable standalone product.

I mean people are still gonna buy it though. I'm actually still interested in it though.

I'm waiting for version 2 or 3. For now I went out and bought a decent automatic that I will never ever have to charge.

My guess is same design (perhaps the camera module will be flush with the back of the device), 2 GB RAM, Quad Core A9 in the 1.3-1.5 GHz range, Same display, Camera sensor improvements but probably still 8MP, upgraded TouchID sensor.

4" model with updated innards. Ie not just a 5s with a slightly quicker CPU.

2gn ram.

32gb base model.

That's literally all I want.

What do I expect? An tiny incremental upgrade. No 32gb base and surely they have to go 2gb of ram now they have it in the iPad Air?

When higher news journalists start slamming the iPhone then maybe we might see a difference. I wish I could write a piece. I would have a lot to say.

I expect 9.0 to be a headache of sorts too and the later version of iOS 8 that's mature will be the one to hold onto for a while.

Would love to be proven wrong especially in the wake of IOS 9 being a tock/snow leopard release supposedly

Supposedly is key, but makes sense. iOS 7 interface redesign, iOS new features, iOS 9 optimize and tighten up the changes. I hope this rumor is true.

I would love to see a notification LED of some sort on the front with a color flashing for each type of notificaiton.

A smarter phone dialer. Whenever I begin to enter the number, or even the name of the person I want to call on the dialer, for the phone to begin to offer me some matches similar to what Android does on its dialers. This works especially well for those who aren't in your favorites.

Wireless Charging

Better battery life or the ability to swap out batteries

Siri to act more like how the Moto X interacts with users

I don't want Apple to change its identity, just make a few enhancements

How does Moto X interact? I'm curious as to what is different.

No way you will see swappable batteries, even Samsung is moving away from that.

Wireless won't come until iPhone 7 at the earliest.

just look at the ipad air 2 for the future iPhone.

triple core cpu with 2gb of ram. Same design, camera better.

Exactly. A9 dual or triple core, 2GB RAM, and S cycles usually have big camera upgrades. I think your scenario is most likely.

My guess is same design (perhaps the camera module will be flush with the back of the device), 2 GB RAM, Quad Core A9 in the 1.3-1.5 GHz range, Same display, Camera sensor improvements but probably still 8MP, upgraded TouchID sensor.

We know it will be the same design based on past history unless Apple throws a HUGE curveball.

I doubt we will see anything more than triple core at the most. The rest seems very plausible. I can see the camera making a jump up most likely. S cycles tend to get big camera upgrades.

whatever I upgrade early... so I will problably have the 6 Plus S if Apple make a huge change on next Iphone...I will problably upgrade , if not, I will wait to 2016 Iphone.

I am hoping that they don't increase the RAM to 2 gigs. That is totally unnecessary for me. I have never had a slowdown or a lag of any kind with my iPhone 6. I don't use it like a mainframe so more memory would just be a waste of money for me. Put that money into the camera.

1. 2GB of RAM. Or better, 3.
2. Smaller bezel. Seriously, the iphone looks so 2008 compared to a LG G3 or note 4.
3. Better screen. The new S6 or the Note 4 both have so much better display (PPI, perfect contrast and colour accuracy)
4. Better back cover design. The current one from the 6/6plus looks ugly.
5. Faster and more stable OS. OS 8 it's so buggy right now.
6. Proper multitasking on the 6 plus (2 apps side by side).
7. Better battery and quick charging.

I expect an extremely incremental upgrade

Me too. My prediction is:

Same physical exterior, perhaps with new color option(s); Much faster A9 processor; 2GB RAM; improved camera; display with Force Touch technology from Apple Watch; more LTE bands.

this is more a wish list for me.
2GB ram
notification light
widgets on my home screen
ability to arrange icons in any order i want.
16MP camera
smaller bezels

I love my 6+ but what I would like to see in the 6s plus:

2gb ram like the air 2
slightly thicker for bigger battery and flush camera lens
shrink the upper and lower bezels
better optimized iOS
notification light
quick charging
better camera
better screen

probably won't happen until the 7 though
