In my growing up I liked Greatest American Hero:
The only thing I didn't liked was the disappearance of the main character's kid after the first season.

I never really got into it.
My favorite older British shows are
"Are you being served"
"Keeping up appearances"
"Doctor Who" (series starting in 1963)
"Blake's 7" (check it out if you haven't heard of it)

Awesome. Thank you. I'd forgotten about that. Very "distinctive" opening visuals. Like a James Bond movie on the cheap! So awful it was good. 🙂

I have several episodes of "AYBS" and "KUA" in my iTunes library. They're classic bits of fun.
Didn't see the following (tho' may have missed them):
Lost in Space - so bad, it was good
