What are your favorite tv shows

House M.D., Family Guy, MythBusters, Modern Marvels, Smash Lab, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report.

Not necessarily in that order.

oh, and my father in-law. a buttoned down catholic type. he liked it. though he referred to it as raunchy... which it is.

I'm so glad someone mentioned this. This is a show, either on VH1 or MTV (I don't remember, I just watch it), that is actually very entertaining and fun. It's hysterical, wow. I'm laughing just thinking about all the stuff on it: Mini horse, speedy claxton the turtle, the spider man prank, it's all good stuff.

Duff-Man says...I don't really watch much TV these days, but I do enjoy My Name Is Earl and Monk quite a bit. My gf is really into House so I've seen a few episodes of that and it's okay but I probably would not turn it on if she wasn't there...oh yeah!

And for something a little more on the lighter side:

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Unfortunately the Avatar story ran its course and is done now, but it has wonderful replay-ability.

Most of the linear storied dramas I wait until the season is over and then hit iTunes. That way I don't have to wait on a mid-season (or week-to-week) cliffhanger. 🙂

All of these shows I have watched purely from purchasing on iTunes because I work during the week when most of them are on.
 
In order of best to less...

1. The Wire
2. The Office (U.S.)
3. Entourage
4. Fringe
5. Family Guy/Weeds (it's a tough call, depends on mood)
