We do Halloween big every year but this year it’s going to be different.

Usually what my friends and I do is order our costumes, get my hair dyed at the salon to match my costume, get my scary makeup on, and on Halloween night we first go to dinner to a restaurant that’s doing Halloween themes before heading over to a night club. We always get the VIP section and choose a nightclub that does a really good job in terms of DJ and decorations.

What we’re planning to do this year is a bit different. Halloween falls on a Saturday, so we want to celebrate BOTH Friday and Saturday since it’s a weekend. Instead of only going to a restaurant and club, which we will do on Friday night, we also want to celebrate on Saturday night as well.

We are planning on going camping and staying over night in the woods. Maybe even for two nights through Monday. We want to light a campfire and roast marshmallows and just enjoy the night.

I hope it’s really scary, but hopefully it doesn’t turn into one of the many horror movies of friends going camping together lol.

What are your plans?

I’m looking for more ideas to make it the best Halloween ever.

We do the house up big, we're starting this weekend, er, at least getting some stuff down :p

Last year we also went to HHN at Universal (stayed onsite for a few days, also hit up the parks), for obvious reasons, it was cancelled this year. Always score a couple of pumpkins to carve, then also make roasted pumpkin seeds, do a pre-planned 30 nights of horror films (we build a list with way more, then use a randomizer). Lots of fun halloween themed beverages.

As far as ToT-ers, we may do a candy launch tube of some sort

Halloween is a huge deal here in Utah. They just go nuts over it. We don't have kids at home so it's nothing more than a nuisance to us. Last year we bought a bag of individually-wrapped pretzels to hand out. I think only 5 or 6 kids came by (probably because we left the front light off). I doubt any will come by this year but if they do, we'll be handing out the rest of last year's pretzels. Better for their teeth.

Has not Halloween been cancelled?, most likely Christmas will be cancelled too!

Hand out candy if their are any kids out and about.

This is generally the sentiment- kids trick or treating for candy. But I think grown ups can make it a lot of fun too if they want. There's always a ton of fun stuff going on

Park the car in the garage, close the curtains, keep the porch light off and cower in a corner.

Halloween is a Saturday and a full moon. With all that's gone on this year I see nothing good happening...

That’s what makes it MORE exciting hehehe

God I hope it’s a crazy and scary Halloween (but nothing TOO crazy)

Taking the kids trick or treating. Seems the perfect holiday since most costumes = masks.

Hanging six feet apart from some of our close friends... and alcohol... Probably more alcohol... and maybe some candy, but definitely alcohol.

Hahaha same brother! Getting drunk in the woods...Halloween...full moon...coyotes howling maybe? Bears? Who knows!?!?!? Lol

Well the good news is COVID 19 has not changed my Halloween plans. I’m going to do exactly the same as I do every year. That’s nothing. Last time I celebrated Halloween I was in primary school (kindergarten to you guys). Then I grew out of it.
