I think many have found that selecting cases to rotate around with, it's important to have ones that are easy to remove and reinstall; and that don't become misshapen with repeated removal.

I know that has become an important criteria for me over the years. Ones that are too thin will just break. Unless they are cheap enough to replace. That works for me sometimes.

Very interesting and informative responses.

Well, never say never. An elf got me this beautiful case, from LifeProof.

I use my Black Apple Leather for business and the professional look.
I use my Apple Saddle Brown for my casual look (mostly jeans).
I use my Red Spigen Tough Armor for outdoor activities.
I use my Red Seidio Tetra Pro bumper case whenever
Lately I've been looking at the LifeProof Fre I'm seriously thinking about getting this one and the belt clip to match..

1) Ringke Fusion Clear: Pretty much an every day case
2) Mophie Juice Pack Reserve: For longer days

I'm actually embarrassed to say that in the 13 months that I've owned my 5s Iphone, I've purchased close to a dozen cases for it. At the end of all of this, I have settled on the Magpul Bump case as my favorite of all. So, I have this case in 3 different colors, and I rotate them just for the fun of it.

Don't be embarrassed, I've been searching for over a year and have tried so many cases, but they'e all been found wanting in one regard or another!
I'm glad I'm not the only one! ;);)

I've tried countless cases, so much so, that Amazon must be totally fed up with the number that I've returned.

If it's not lack of 360% protection it's fingerprints, or bulkiness, or slipperiness, or worst of all feeling flimsy/saggy/floppy around the lip, especially below the Home Button, it's a combination of all of them.
I've not found the "perfect," case, although I've seen plenty I like for the iPhone 5, that I'm thinking about trading my iPhone 6 in for the SE! :)

I found, as close as damn it, the Snugg Ultra Thin Leather case, amazing, but as it's leather coating on what seems to be a cardboard back, it damages easily.
All fine and dandy to buy another but they seem to have changed the design and you can no longer fit even the Apple Lightning Cable into the port with the case on!

However, having abandoned that, all in all I have kept the following:

1. Caudabe Sheath....great fit and although not "saggy," it does come away from the case if you pull it.
2. Slider cases, they solve most of the above problems, but fingerprints can be a pain and they're not very grippy.
3. Magpul Field case, love it, it ticks all of the boxes, apart from a bit of bulkiness, but I find I come back to this time and again, as I love the feeling of protection it gives and I love the feel of it in the hand.
4. Magpul Bump Case, as above, but after a while, I find it "heavy," in the hand and end up switching back to the Field Case!

I had a collection like the above until recently. I'm out of the "rotation" and now using the iPhone the way it was intended, with NO case. Loving it. I think I will keep a couple of cases for specialty use-cases like a wallet case when I go on vacation.

Lately as silly as it sounds my case of choice has been my Loopy. Thought it was biggest gimmick ever, until I started using it on my 6S plus... My face has never been as well from not dropping phone on face in bed LOL

I'm back to a 4.7" 6s (from a 6s Plus) so I've been rotating between the DesignSkin Slider for everyday use and a Lifeproof Fre for hiking and outdoors stuff. I did impulse buy a DesignSkin F1 because I thought a ring thing on the back might be useful and it's also on sale right now on Amazon. It's nice for when I feel like using it, though I think the Slider will be daily driver for the most part.

A lot of good replies here to my OP!

Thanks everybody!

I'm still using my original list of rotation cases but I did add the Lifeproof case for beach time. One grain of sand can be a disaster! And no worries at the wet swim up pool bar either

Rotating cases is the only way to go. Holy Grail searching is, well, impossible to achieve. Like I said in the OP I have more than one set of clothes.

Keep posting!

I have 7 cases but my phone is always in a speck candyshell grip.

I'd love a thinner case but I've not found one that offers the same level of grip, or any grip at all. And as I think it's the slippiest phone in creation and I constantly feel like I'm about to drop it it stays in the speck.

I have been rotating through my Play Proof, Candyshell Grip and the VRS Iron Shield.

Waiting on my solid suit as I hope that covers all my bases.

Very well said!:)
Thank you! I think that rotation among good cases, for function or just looks, is the way out of all the anxiety trying to find the perfect everyday case. Just like shoes.

The real search is to select cases that are durable enough to withstand the on-off process. And are easy to remove and install. My selection has worked very, very well.

Good luck everyone, and fun to see the variety will all have. Instead of trying to convince each other that our 'one' is perfect. Just doesn't exist. As in one will never find the Holy Grail.

Regarding the changing clothes analogy, sometimes I go naked too.

Any model, 6, 6+, S series. Even 5 series

Most threads are looking for that ONE perfect case! Holy Grail kind of thing

But let's face it, we don't wear one pair of shoes (dress, casual, sneakers, hiking, sandals). The same with clothes.

So I've noticed more and more forum members are doing rotation cases.

List yours and when you use them.

Here are mine:

KAVAJ Tokyo for most days. Office work, around the house. Shows off the phone and direct button access.

TECH 21 Evo Mesh (Apple store version). For outdoor yard work, sticky wet hands, more active days.

KAVAJ Dallas case. Has a flip cover ( I don't use screen protectors) , for Gym. On the tread mill, weight lifting. The flip and pockets are perfect.

Miscellaneous cases: Apple leather and Sena Heritage sleeve. Random use.

I think rotating cases is the smarter solution than buying dozen of cases looking for the ONE.

Share yours!

I guess you are a woman

Currently rocking that iPhone 5 until September...

I change phone cases like I change clothes but these are the three I seem to keep going back to.

My Speck Candyshell I think I mentioned earlier in the thread (which is a little dirty now but does the job)

This clear TPU case

And this case from Case-Mate

They all do a pretty decent job and my phone is still in excellent shape.
