I'm about 80 pages into "From a Buick 8" by Stephen King. Awesome book. King's stuff is always so enveloping and richly put together...it really sucks you in. :)

Just finished "It Can't Happen Here" by Sinclair Lewis. Amazing to believe it was written before WWII and it's about the facisit takeover of the United States; "Oryx & Crake" by Margaret Atwood (again) literary daughter of Orwell.

Just for fun "Nature Girl" by Carl Hiasson and "Lisey's Story" by Stephen King.

Gotta read an hour a day (at least) and walk outdoors at least a half hour a day to keep my sanity during this crazy time of year.

I'm reading "Against the Day" by Thomas Pynchon... definitely one of the best book (if not the best) during the past decade of my life.

New book by Pynchon!!! Very cool, now if I only had the time.

How does it rate to Gravity's Rainbow?

Heat by George Monbiot. He's setting out how to reduce carbon emissions by 90% by 2050. Unfortunately, no more planes...

Black Jewels Trilogy and Dreams made Flesh by Anne Bishop

Thud! by Terry Pratchett.

Poison Study by Maria Snyder

It's actually better and longer!

Superior in terms of looking at the properties of light. If you are into the unified theory of relativity there are many references to it.

Atlas shrugged = repetitive.

Just finished 'Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell' by Susanna Clarke - good but long.

Now I'm reading 'The plot against America' by Phillip Roth and I'm having trouble sleeping at night. I know that it's written in hindsight and is a thinly/not veiled shot at the current administration but it doesn't make me feel any better.

Got it today, looking foward to getting into it!
