I think Books you are reading - {MONTH} is a great idea....
We should have a Books & Literature forum.

Here's to the Crazy Ones

The Bible. Old Testament. Exodus. I really don't have a lot of time to read, so there is really nothing else on my plate rtight now. Maybe after the semester ends. I'll probably get back to re-reading my Roald Dahl collection (both the children's stories and the short stories).

A briefer history of time - Stephen Hawking.

Cept it is at work right now, and i am too sick to go there

next will be a book on Quantum Physics

Interpreter of Maladies- Jhumpa Lahiri
Wicked- Gregory Maguire
Mirror, Mirror- Gregory Maguire
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister- Gregory Maguire

Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. Excellent, excellent book.

Still on page 179, I'm a slow reader.

that's so cool...i love anything on physics...the last physics related book i read was a funny commentary book by carl sagan and now i am listening to feynman's famous cal tech lectures from 1961-63 on cd

time travel really ignites my imagination

Cacthing the redeye, Lima-Dallas and plan to finish "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. Nice read.

I just ordered Magical Thinking by Joan Didion from amazon.com.

It is the editor's #1 pick. It should be coming sometime next week.

Not at all, I've read lots of Physics books and enjoyed them. Yes, even QED.
:)

Having abandoned all sensible dissertation reading in favour of winging it completely, I can now start reading good books again...yay! I've just started In Praise Of Slow by Carl Honoré. It seems interesting so far, and makes me think about the time we spend on certain things. If I take it seriously, expect a leaving thread from me anytime soon....;)

Currently reading Riptide by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (my favorite authors.) I do believe next up on my list is either Mary Mary by James Patterson or Harry Potter 1 (forgot what its called) because I never got around to reading any of those books.

I took Finnegan's Wake from my campus library last week, read about 4 pages, and gave up. I have been told that it isn't really supposed to be comprehended, and I can see why! I was totally lost by the second sentence.
