Right now I have 3 pairs of Gap jeans, the most expensive pair I think was like $35.00 at a Gap Outlet, but they were a gift so they were free! :) I have one pair of American Eagle jeans that I paid $25.00 on sale, and one pair of Old Navy jeans that I got on sale for like $13.00. I really like the look, and fit of Gap jeans. They have nice washes, and whiskering, without looking like their going to fall apart. :)

As for cut, they are all either Boot Cut, or Straight Cut. I don't understand "Low Rise" or "Slim Boot." Call me strange, but I prefer my Jeans to sit AT my waist, not below it. I also don't enjoy loosing circulation in my thighs from the so called "Slim cut" jeans.

^^ It's funny how where we wear jeans makes such a difference, too. I wear my jeans a bit below my waist, higher if I have a shirt tucked in or wear a belt.

I can completely agree with your comment though. Those super-low-rise things are horrible imo.

I am all about A.P.C. It doesn't get any better than their New Standards in raw Japanese selvege denim. Best pair of jeans I've ever owned.

I also like Earnest Sewn's stuff, though my newest pair is starting to get up there in age.

For more affordable denim, you just can't beat Uniqlo. Every time I take a trip to New York I load up on their good, cheap basics.

I love Banana Republic Relaxed Fit jeans, they're the only jeans I wear now.

I don't have a "usually" brand as I normally just buy something I like when I see it. I'm currently wearing a pair from River Island. My other current pair are from here, and are branded as such.

The thing about jeans is that there is not much benefit in paying a lot more for a pair of jeans, so I just do what you do and buy a pair when I want them AND like them. They could be $60, or $20. If they fit well, they'll look great, so why stick to a specific brand? Just stick to well-fitting jeans.

Having said that, American jeans aren't the way to go. If you want nice jeans, go to Japan.

A quick Google search shows me that quite a few people believe this...
Denimology.
Ask Men
Shop Atsui (good explanation as to why, it turns out)

Actually, after reading the last site, turns out 2 pairs of my jeans are made using that Japanese style. Softer than a baby's bottom. Price: $35 for one pair (got them in Hong Kong), and $50 for the other (from Edwin in Japan: JP site, European site. I actually didn't know about the whole Japanese denim thing until after my 5th trip to Japan. My brother told me about it last month.

Also, I don't wash jeans every time I wear them like some pansies. :p They're made to be tough. My jeans last for years (way longer than 5 years), and I only wash them every 10th or 15th time I wear them. If I go somewhere and they end up smelling like smoke, I tend to wash them.

Ruehl (a brand of abercrombie)
Abercrombie & Fitch
American Eagle (althoough i like Abercrombie better fit wise)
Armani Express

Sounds expensive, but all these store (Even Ruehl) Have Huge discounts every once in a while and i stock up.

And people who say a jean is a jean is seriously mistaken. You can feel the quality in some jeans. Abercrombie i think makes the best. And a lot of the times you can get them for as cheap as no name brands. I picked up 3 pair at abercrombie about 3 months back for a total of $62 and change. One pair was $9.99 marked down from 79.95 LOL!

Levi's 510 Super Skinny

Most jeans are too baggy on me, and I hate boot cut. It's hard to find cheap jeans for skinny guys.

I'm so sad that only like 3 people here have said they wear Bullhead jeans.

They are, without doubt, the best.

If you're a girl like me with a tiny waist but hips/butt and you're sick of being a size 5 in the legs and a 3 in the waist, then look no further!

Most Pacsun's sell them 2/$55 (originally 45$ a piece) but I got one pair for 10$, I got a pair for $2, and I got a pair for 25$... and some others I spent real money on. They're great and come in different fits!

girl's jeans

(Laguna and Venice are my two favorite fits)

guy's pants

Whatevers cheap really. And by cheap i mean like 10 bucks, I could NEVER spend 40+ on a single pair of pants. All I wear is jeans.

I love going to old navy during clearences and being able to pic up my favorite jeans ever, union bay boot cut, for 10 a pop!

I do need to go clothes shopping again, im forced to wear the same pants at least twice a week and for shirts Im known around school for wearing the same shirt twice a week as well.

I'm very low on clothing lol.

I like Volcom and Levi's. Sure they can be spendy, but I just like how thin they are, but really stretchy so they don't feel tight on my skeleton thin frame.
