What Cable modem/router is everyone using?

I have the Cisco EPC3925.. It's a stable modem but the 5GHz signal is too weak. I don't have any weaponised walls at home, but with only one thin wall and 5 meters (16.4ft) I only get 1 bar and too often wifi signal loss.
