Between personal and work:

1990's - Omnipoint / MCI Worldcom:rolleyes: / Nextel
2000's - Nextel / T-Mobile / Sprint
2010's - T-Mobile / ATT / Verizon

Out of all the carriers, Verizon is tops. All of our phones are with them. Even though we live in a city in the midwest, there are areas where GSM just does not perform well. Heck, even Sprint was a dead zone around where we currently live.

Switched from Verizon to AT&T. Unlimited plan is slightly cheaper and it comes with WatchTV.

With Verizon, my unlimited plan would virtually brick my phone several times a day. So far, I have only experienced deprioritization a couple times on AT&T. Switching LTE off & going to 4G remedies any slow down.

I have AT&T, which is typically great, however two reoccuring problems get me on the fence a lot:

-it stops working in crowded places. Concerts, shopping malls when they are packed etc. this problem doesn’t seem to be as bad on rival services according to friends.

-i travel a lot. Philly, Chicago, Portland, all over the country really. And service on parts of the west coast, particularly Oregon, is non existent for miles. I get it, it’s not densely populated, but not even 3G exists, and I find that odd in 2019.

Vodafone UK because they look after you well I’ve got a Sim only sim which gives me unlimited calls and texts and 20gb data for £16

I’ve been with EE (formally T Mobile / Orange)

And 3 none could persuade me to stay with them lol

My husband and I have Straight Talk. We live in a small town (Fallon, Nevada) and there are only two carriers that work here. We can't afford Verizon so we just buy our devices outright and use them on Straight Talk.

Is your Straight Talk phone on the Verizon network or the ATT network?

Depending on usage and group size, MVNOs and other prepaid can save significant money. On the other hand, if the "family" plan is large enough, postpaid can be competitive. 4 for $160, for instance, on some carriers. But $70 or more for 1 line.
[doublepost=1546712495][/doublepost]My main cell phone plan is on ATT Prepaid. The low end unlimited plan, which can apparently de-prioritize from the get go. Only had for about 1 month so haven't noticed any yet. And VoLTE is supposed to be turned on on the 15th, which should help my coverage/voice quality. My backup phone, and the reason I'm willing to go with the lower roaming of prepaid, is on a Verizon MVNO. That plan is 250minutes/250MB of data a month, useful if needed on a road trip and ATT doesn't have coverage.

Verizon. AT&T screwed me over with my iPhone 5 trade in. More importantly, better cellular reception and customer service with Verizon.

T-Mobile doesn’t work at my jobs and their customer service was a hot mess. Sprint is even worse on those fronts.

Cricket on at&t network. It’s limited to 8mbs per sec I think but I pay $35 for 5gb. It works for me. Been on the plan for maybe 3 yrs.

Mint, which I recommended earlier in this thread, just upgraded their plans as follows:
$15/month for 3GB 4G LTE (up from 2GB)
$20/month for 8GB 4G LTE (up from 5GB)
$25/month for 12GB 4G LTE (up from 10GB)

These are the rates when paying for 12 months at a time. They also have 3-month and 6-month plans.
(Mint uses T-mobile's network.)

Verizon, because it makes phone calls no matter where I may be. Couldn't say that when I tried AT&T.

I am using Total Wireless a product of Tracphone. It was part of my iPhone 6 package. I get 6Gb of data a month with unlimited talk and text. With a card that cost $35 that I have to buy every month. It is really awesome. I am in west bend Wisconsin.

Verizon. We pay about $230 a month for 3 phones, but it’s unlimited talk, text, and web. We have yet to be throttled with this data plan after about 6 months on it.

Att eSIM + T-mobile rSIM, soon will be with Att + VZW or Att.

T-mobile is congested in some parts. I know all the providers have bad or good spots, T-mobile has mote bad spots than Att or Vzw.

ATT and Verizon in So Cal. I think they perform pretty similarly but as long as I have to have two sims might as well have two carriers. Both are solid. I have tried T Mo. Good speed but their coverage can still be spotty.
