I was debating the Apple Silicon case for my 6S, but both my wife and I have been using the Speck Candy Shell cases for a year now, and the have done the job quite well, as we have both dropped our phones multiple times.

The Silicone, and other real thin type cases are nice, and they will protect the phone from scratches, but the most important thing is to protect the phone from a drop, especially on concrete, or other hard surface, and our Speck's have passed the test.

I think the Speck is about the best bang for the $$. I got a like new from Amazon for $16.

UPDATE: Have had the Speck Candyshell for two days now, and while it has been good in the past, the new Candyshell cases have a design flaw where the back has a bow in the center, so when you put it on a hard surface it can spin.

I called Speck, and they told me it's due to the build process, which in my opinion is unacceptable, as my old iPhone case was flat on the bottom.

So I'm now looking for another case that will sit firmly when you set it down.

I looked at a lot of cases for the 6s plus. Was originally going to go with the Thule Atmos X4 but they have issues w\the screen protector not allowing full screen functionality. In the end I went in a totally different direction, ordered a Doc Artisan Sport Wallet Vintage Brown on Friday night. Hopefully it will provide enough drop protection for those times the phone slips out of my hand.

I wanted solid protection, but not bulky. For both our phones (6S and 6S+) I ordered Spigen Neo Hybrid (clear and rose), it provides a pretty high degree of drop protection, shows off the design and is very cost effective. Combined that with Tech Armor screen protectors. Just about perfect.

I got the clear and white Tech21 case for my Rose Gold and its flipping BEAUTIFUL. I get that it's TPU so it's probably not going to stay clear forever, but it's really nice.

I've had several of these, awesome cases! However my white/clear one is pretty yellow now after about 5-6 mos :(

One of my favorite cases I've ever used. Have the 'regular gold' version on my 6 Plus right now, ordering the Rose Gold version for my 6S Plus

Can't decide on one. Was hoping for a sturdy, non-yellowing, protective, clear one, but doesn't seem like a whole lot of options that have all of that included lol.

The one thing I've noticed is that if you get a gold iPhone then the clear TPU cases last a bit longer because the yellowing doesn't stand out as much.

Think I finally found it. Happened to be out with my wiFe today and found a case for my 6s plus. Military drop rated...bodyguardz Shock case in black. Fits my SG 6s plus like a glove and meets all my OCD issues ;). I actually had my wife look at it first to make sure as she knows all my issues too well.

I tried one yesterday, I can't bring myself to pay $35 for one. I ordered a Magpaul Field case off Amazon for a little more than half the price of the Bodyguardz Shock. I'm hoping it will be the perfect case for me.
