With the rumors about the sizing I'm hearing for this phone, this very well could be the one that I just say to hell w/ a case and go naked because of the size.

You are talking about cases, which haven't been seen yet, for a phone, which hasn't been seen yet.

Might as well just ask which cases people like for the iphone 5s, since everyone is basing their opinion on those cases.

And if that's the case, there are many, MANY, threads on that subject already.

Once the 6 comes out I'm converting, (new to apple). I've seen their leather cases, are they any good?

To me they are the best, in the looks department. I have the brown (tan/natural) one and so far it has aged nicely, though I've used it only at home and havent really put it through much

Listen October Tequila people want to know what they will buy. Most case companies will make a similar case to what they have done in the past. It is more a thread of cases that have shown promise so people are educated about what their options are. Your comment is unnecessary.

Yeah, I guess I should have been more specific. The one's I see often are the ones from Sena Cases for the 5s, based off that, pretty sure the tan/darker rule applies?

the Caudabe Veil although Im not too fond of the case loosening/stretching after a couple months or so...

Caudabe Veil for me, too. Had it for the 5 and now my 5s. Love it.

You should contact Caudabe customer service about that. They're really good with replacements, at least in my experience.

Some kind of clear shield for the back and nothing on the front, assuming it's sapphire crystal. Been using only shields since the 3G. I hate covering the phone since it's such a nicely designed device.

Likely none. I like the sena cartera for my 5S. No longer like other actual cases

I've had it replaced by them once already... the new one got loose/stretched out after a month or so too and that was during the winter months (Jan-March)... imagine keeping the case on the phone in our pockets during the summer months...lol

I guess it just depends on your personal usage. I haven't had that issue with the Veil at all, either this summer or in the winter. Will be getting another one once I upgrade to the 6 for sure. Only question is whether I get the 4.7" Veil or the 5.5" Veil. lol

So I'm looking at a few different stores for a leather case and I wanted to ask if anyone knows/heard of how these cases are:

Vaja, Story Leather, Alta, and Dock Artisan.

I've already been through Sena, incase and other bigger companies, but I wanted to see if anyone has tried any of these other ones.

None. I like keeping my phone naked so I can visually enjoy its design. The most I would do is get a skin for it and a tempered glass.

fair call, the only isssue its usually a matter of time before one drops or damages it one way or another.

If the leaked designe are to be believed, this might be the year I go naked. If I get the sudden need for a case the max I will go is a Caudabe Veil.

That's what I was thinking too. Caudabe Veil or just naked. I'll probably still end up using the Veil since the back of the phone is likely all aluminum and susceptible to scuffs. Definitely not getting a screen protector this time around though.
