I also like to keep the look as slim as possible. I currently have the Johncase version of the Caudable Veil. Some claim it has rough edges but my case is fine, fits well and no issues with it stretching out. On the front I have Bodyguardz glass screen protector. I have dropped my phone a couple of times on hard tile floors and the glass screen protector has been what saved the screen. The protector edge caught the floor and shattered but kept the actual screen just fine. My daughter had the exact same experience - shattered glass protector but perfectly fine screen underneath.

So for the 6, which I do plan on getting, I'll either stay with a super slim case like the Veil, Pinlo, Johncase or maybe even go with a Bodyguardz carbon fiber skin for the back. But I will continue to use a glass screen protector on my new phone.

If Apple make an iPhone 6 version of their leather case I'll get another brown one, but other than that I'll probably go caseless like I tend to always do.

Honestly, I think all of the super thins will stretch out over time. It's just a matter of your usage patterns, but the stretching is a matter of time. I think it's just a limitation of the material. I stick with the Caudabe Veil just because they seem to be less of a black hole than other generic brands and offer out replacements if there are any issues. Hopefully they'll have a Veil out for the iPhone 6 on launch day.

I love the Spigen Cases. I've had two of them in the past and, while the price is a bit high just for a case in my opinion, as someone who drops her phone all the time, I think the protection is worth the cost. :)

Probably a Spigen bumper again. But I'll need to feel the size of the 4.7". It just may be too large even with a bumper.

May have to go alone with a Sena pouch.

I've had my piel frama leather case for my podtouch 5g for two years now and as the iphone will be a similar design, I can say without any qualification at all that the Piel Frama leather case is the only one I'd ever consider. Also it slips in and out of the case so easily that you get the best of both worlds in that it's no drama to whip it out of its case when you want the naked look.

However if I use my ipod touch now without the case it feels like it's going to slip out of my hand and this will be relevant to the new slimmer more ipodtouch like engineering of the iphone

Back in my pre-vegan days, I loved the Piel Frama case that I had (not for an i product). I wish I could find a faux leather case that was as pretty.

I've been looking at some cases on amazon and I'm also interested in the Ringke slim and the iron shield from verus quite similar to the spigen neo hybrid but I just like the metallic look to the cases rather than the plasticy look of the spigen case.

Just returned my Verus Iron Shield it is a signal killer :\
It sucks cause the build quality is top notch, darn AT&T and
their weak signal here in town

I dropped my phone this month, i dont remember the date but, my screen actually cracked, first time ever. I thought it would never happen to me. Makes me want to buy something rugged like otterbox!

I've been vegetarian for almost 40 years so I am sympathetic to the vegan diet, but the vegan philosophy of non exploitation of animals to the point of using vegan condoms because non vegan condoms apparently have some atoms in them that are animal derived, does get a bit silly.

Cows are not exploited for their leather so I think it's better to use it than to dispose of the leather which seems to add insult to the animal injury.

Besides you will not find a faux replacement because faux leather literally stinks and falls apart with age rather than ageing to a more beautiful patina. Take the leather hinge on the Piel Frama that allows the cover to fold under from the top, can't do that with faux, because it could not stand the constant stress. Therefore a faux version would have to hinge from the bottom and hang down.

The Piel is hand stitched with no two being identical and it is a fitting case for the iPhone. It amazes me how I see so many iPhones with the most hideous snap on cradle that if dropped would probably have the phone flying out.

It's certainly a personal choice, and in some cases a religious/spiritual one. :)

Faux leather does not wear as well, I agree. It's why I "wish" for one. In any case (ha), that is a beautiful case.

A bumper case for certain.from Spigen not Magpul.

Good thing Magpul doesn't make a bumper case!

Probably something by otterbox if I get the 6. I am very happy with my 5s and that is coming from the note 3.

Apple puts so much into design and SO.MANY.PEOPLE. stick them in gigantic otterboxes. Such a tragedy.

----------

I will not use a case, and will enjoy all of Apple's goodness :apple:

Is there already a list somewhere of all the iPhone 6 cases that are already available for purchase (not pre-order)? If so, could somebody link me? Thanks in advance

Currently using a clear luvvitt case for the gold 5s shows off gold design and does offer some protection. Like others stated I try to stay away from otterbox good protection but takes away from design and is bulky. But I understand why people choose theses especially if you sell every yr.

What case will you buy for your iPhone 6?

So I see this case on Amazon being sold for the iPhone 5. Does that work?

But on the website they sell another for the5

Nowadays, I got the newsletter from Spigen advertising their new iPhone case.
There are already 4 cases for iPhone 6 now, and I was told that they're going to expand their product lineup soon.

Anyways. I'm very much looking forward to new iPhone and the awesome cases to protect my phone.

Oh, if you guys want to see the newsletter from Spigen I got, you can check it out at here : http://www.spigen.com/brands/apple/iphone/iphone-6.html

Not sure what you mean, but the Piel Frama cases are made to fit exactly, I would expect it to be a few months before they have one ready for the iPhone 6, you could check out their website or write to them for further clarification.

I there there are going to be more dropped iPhone 6's than iPhone 5's, it's a very slippery design.

I've become a huge fan of the OEM Apple leather case that I've had on my 5, and now my 5s. I've had tons of cases, but this one has been on for the longest of any. I got the black one so wear spots wouldn't show like the tan, red or other colors. It protects, gives great "grip", and looks cool.

I hope Apple is going to roll out another leather case for the iPhone 6 like this one & I'll snap it up on day-one!

For some of us - a lot. I always go naked with my phones and any case that's chunky and bulky is exactly what I avoid. I keep my phone in my front pant pocket on every pair of pants and the last thing I want is a big piece of armor around my phone, filling up my pocket, and making an atrocious outline in my pants 24/7. Not to mention I don't want that added weight or bulk.

I can understand the crease in your pockets- I've been a victim of that malady for quite a while. I suppose that I just don't mind as much of some people :p

The Piel Frama, has a natty little flat metal stud on the back but there are two tiny notches in it which allows to to be unscrewed and a specially designed clip designed to be attatched to a belt, or without a belt to the waistband. It swivel 360 degrees. I don't use it myself as I don't wear tight pants and I prefer it in my side pocket.

However for those who do put it in their pocket, the belt clip has the advantage that even the thinnest phone can not ameliorate, and that is if you want to sit down with a phone in your front pocket you are always going to have the same problem but on a 360 swivel clip, you don't have any bulk at all in your pocket and when sitting down you turn it sideways. You can then simply use the case and clip as a way of carrying a naked phone that is protected, you then just slip the naked phone out of it's case to use it leaving the case on your belt. So the case is more like a holster.

I'm not trying to talk you into anything, I'm just providing a better solution to a rigid 4"+ phone in your front pocket.
