I got the new Element Case Solace yesterday and am sporting it on my iPhone 5. I will be using this for my 5S

When Lifeproof comes out with their case, it's what I'll be using. Until then, a cheap $15 case from meritline.com.

Orders a

Gunmetal Spigen Neo Hybrid EX Slim

And a

Grey Spigen Hybrid Ultra

I'll keep whichever I like more. Have a feeling I'll keep the EX Slim. I like just a bumper. With a clear protector for thy back I'm sure I'll be happy.

Just ordered mine on Amazon for $11.19, got it today, and this case is AWESOME. Coming from someone who hates cases too.

The texture feels really solid and durable, and the material gives you excellent grip. Lightweight and incredibly thin too. This feels like a $40 case. Thinking of getting another one in a different color.

Highly recommended!

and this Magpul case is MADE IN USA. let's all buy this. i'd rather buy made in usa stuff than a cheap and nice case from somewhere.

I went with the Apple leather one , Baige color for my gold & white iphone .

Went out of the house this morning with all good intentions of getting the apple case. Ended up buying a Barbour flip case which is grape padding and a nice brown leather. I agree that the beige looks great, though there were none to be had in my city. Red, black, brown were all I could find.

I used an incipio feather on my black 5 at first then I went no case and ended up with tons of little nics and scratches on the chamfered edges.

Want to keep my lovely white 5s in better condition...

I used to swear by Incase Sliders but when I got one for my 5 it was very loose and the bottom would fall off while I was talking on the phone. It also creaked and made noises when holding it. Exchanged it once and had the same problems with the second one. I don't know if something was wrong with the initial batch that came out with the iPhone 5 at launch, but I switched to Speck and have been happy with them.

Mine creaks only when I press it down towards the phone. But I certainly don't have a loose bottom. Very sturdy actually.

Maybe it was the initial batch that came out with the release of the iPhone 5, because I bought mine a week ago and it doesn't have problems.

I doubt I'll use any case, as the only times I've scratched a phone were when it landed face down, and very few cases protect against that.

I'll be using my favorite budget case most of the time. The Magpul.

Ya it could have been problems with the first batch because the stores had them in stock before the iPhone was even released. I would be holding the phone talking on it and the bottom would fall off and then the phone would slide out leaving me holding just the case. Never had that problem with Incase in previous years but I'm happy with my Candyshell grip now.

Incase Pro Snap

Picked this case up last night at the Apple Store. Wish they had a model with orange side bands but the blue looks awesome in my opinion.

Usually keep my phone naked but I still keep a couple cases around for some days.

(Sorry for the quality. Photo's taken with the mini.)

I have never used a case before. I've always used my phone naked.

My 5s is so beautiful and so well-made, I really want to use it naked too. BUT, my 5 got pretty scuffed up after a while. So I'm looking for something I can quickly and easily throw my phone in and out of. So I can use it naked, then throw it in a case or pouch or sleeve when I'm on the go.

I was thinking of this one:

Anyone have any experience? I think it looks very classy. They also have this great-looking book-style case, but it doesn't look very easy to get the phone in/out of. But it's so handsome I might not mind just leaving it in.

I also bought this at the Apple store . A minimal case against scratches. "Adopted Case" Feels good in hand. High quality plastic doesn't feel cheap at all. Love it. doesn't hide the beauty of my gold iPhone ;)

Torn in between these two cases. Speck Candyshell Grip and Magpul field case. Both great tight fitting cases.
