That's why I got the Rocketfish soft case. Bought it as a temp case on day one, but I actually like it and will probably keep it. It's actually harder than I expected. Nice lip and cutouts. What I like most about it is how thin and light it is, for a decently-protected case. It's no Incipio Feather, but I feel like it protects better. Reminds me of the Incase Slider. However, I wouldn't use a slider on the easily-scratched black 5. I was going to go Commuter, but I see the Commuter for the 5 is no thinner than the 4S model. I want to notice the thinness of the 5 when I use it.

atm I'm thinking I might get some of those ipod sock things, as I hate to put cases on such beautifuly designed stuff, also adding bulk.

Hopefully the sock will add enough protection for me, (phone will be alone in my pocket, and will be put down on tables etc.) I'll probably stop using it after a few weeks/months/dings.

Anyone know how much bulk those socks add? never seen one in person, are they thick knit, or fairly thin?

ghost armor + commuter?

wondering if any case experts here might know how the otterbox commuter would work with the iphone 5 combined with Ghost Armor? I have the full body ghost armor on my 4 along with the commuter...thinking of doing the same again...what do you think?
 
I got the Switcheasy Nude.. I've seen some complaints on here about it, but for me it fits perfectly and looks very nice. I'm happy with it.
 
Cygnett FlipWallet on order, just don't know if it has a camera cutout on the back... I have the Tetrax Xway in the car, so want something not to permanent. Have a cheap flexi case with a magnet glued on the back for the car.

Got this gel case from Telus on launch day...they've been having a hard time keeping stock after hehe...

It's so nice not to cover the actual look of the back and still have a little bit of protection.

It has a very slight lip on the front (if that's what you're referring to), and I don't think they can make it any thinner than that without compromising durability IMHO.

But as you can see in the pics, it's not that noticeable. It also helps prevent scratches to the front in case you put the phone face down by mistake.
