I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Belkin Grip Max. I bought mine at the Verizon store yesterday and it provides superior fit and protection. It's thick, but because of scuffgate, I was forced to buy better protection ( resale value).

For those going naked, god bless ya. Wish I had your money.

I got Ghost Armored today and picked up a TPU flexible clear case at Best Buy. I really want to let this beauty shine.

The looks of the Switcheasy NUDE is deceiving. Lots of people are reporting that it can cause scratches to the phone and that the volume buttons do not work with the phone. DO NOT ORDER or CANCEL! I emailed to cancel. Waiting for response...sorry

u got a phone that is amazingly thin, just to put the defender on it to add back the bulk its loss and more? wow.

i got this btw, http://www.switcheasy.com/product/NUDE_iPhone5

Although I love the thinness of the phone, imo I have always felt the iphone kinda slippery, almost like it wants to jump out of your hand, especially right when you are walking by some concrete. Which is why I also got an Otterbox Defender, the case wraps the iphone tightly, and barely gives a sense of bulkiness.

So the Nude case covers the entirety of the back and also covers the sides?

Does it feel like quality material?
Does it feel tight or can you move the phone around in the case?

What do you think of the case overall?

Well, I don´t have an iPhone yet, still waiting (Germany) probably getting it in October, but it feels quite good, hard-plastic but still quite elastic.

Yes the case covers the back and the sides and as far as I can conclude it also covers over the edges, so if you put the iPhone on a table the display won´t touch the surface. But as I said before, i am bit worried about this hole scratch and scuff thing.

Hope that polycarbonat does not scratch aluminum or the coating.

Source? I searched for reviews but did not find one, especially not for the iP 5.

Commuter vs Defender?

whats the thickness difference between Otterbox Commuter and Defender for iphone 5? they have the Reflex as well, but it doesnt cover all ports...not sure I'd be happy with that..

The reviews for the 4/4S version on Amazon is pretty terrible.

I liked the look of the NUDE case because it was low profile.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a case that's as low profile as possible but most importantly doesn't let in dirt and dust and thus scratch the phone from within the case?

I just want a quality case.

The reviews for the 4/4S version on Amazon is pretty terrible.

Well, the back of the iPhone was made of glass, and when dust or sand grain comes between the glass and the case, the case acts like sandpaper. Daily cleaning of the case is necessary. For this reason i am asking, how far plastic affects on aluminum.

And I think because of this dust problem, they also sent a back protector with the case.

I ordered BodyGuardz and some free ZooGue cases but they haven't arrived so I went to the Verizon store and got...

The Incipio DualPro case in white/black

When I heard about the scuffing issues on the black iphone it was the first time I'd ever considered getting a case for any tech...

atm I'm thinking I might get some of those ipod sock things, as I hate to put cases on such beautifuly designed stuff, also adding bulk.

Hopefully the sock will add enough protection for me, (phone will be alone in my pocket, and will be put down on tables etc.) I'll probably stop using it after a few weeks/months/dings.

Anyone know how much bulk those socks add? never seen one in person, are they thick knit, or fairly thin?

Quick review on cases:

http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPa...duct_Id=666412

I like the look and feel of the Belkin Grip Candy on my White iphone. The back looks much nicer than the sides and front lip (which end up looking gray). Actually, the sides are gray, which is ugly imo. I don't know why they went with that color because the rest of the case is beautiful (although a little feminine if you are insecure about that).

The buttons lose a little bit of feedback, but aren't bad.

Also doesn't add much thickness to the phone. Feels approx. the same, with a small 2-3mm lip. The satin feel is very nice.

SPECK:

http://www.speckproducts.com/iphone-...-iphone-5.html

I didn't like the Speck much for some reason, besides owning it for my 3GS. My 3GS speck case scratched the crap out of my phone over time due to dust/debris rubbing between the case and the phone, and the design hasn't changed much for the iphone 5 case besides little cutouts in the inside rubber. So I am hesitant about the speck for long-term use. It also doesn't look as nice IMO.

However, the Speck has SPECTACULAR button feedback. I would even say it amplifies and improves the button presses on the iphone 5 (which don't feel as nice as the iphone 4 imo).

The Speck is also harder to put on and take off, and I worry about scratching the phone when you do so. My 3GS speck as broke after 1 year when I was taking it off.

I got the speck candyshell grip, because it was one of the 2 available candyshell cases. I have to say I really like the grip, it does give you some really good control over the phone, and looks AWESOME! Plus its really thin and offers GREAT protections. (My mom's 4S survived getting run over by cars, and still in perfect condition, so ill trust speck.)

I ordered an INCIPIO Feather that was supposed to ship on Thursday. No tracking number yet and their customer service is close on the weekend.... Hmmm
Plus I have an Invisible Shield HD coming this week. Haven't decided if I'm actually gonna use them yet ;))

Ifrogz slider type coupled with a Zagg Invisi Shield HD case friendly. I've got an OtterBox Commuter on the way but haven't decided if I'm keeping that one yet.

Just got this same case from best buy a few hours ago! I love it. Not too worried anymore since I got apple care + with this phone. :D

I picked this one up too. Seems like a nice case and no bulkier than similar mixed material cases. Certainly less bulky than a defender.

this is what I got on. i am lucky to have one with no scuffs and dents.
i am still waiting on my wrapsol preorder. i've used them on my macbook and ipad and I like it a lot than bodyguardz that I used to buy.

I'm going with a griffin reveal for now because I'm waiting for the invisible shield extreme but after that comes in I might go naked with best buy insurance because they offer no deductible replacements. First time getting insurance, I've always ran an invisible shield with an element vapor pro case. So I'm waiting to see what element comes out with.

Bought an Otterbox Defender at Best Buy but considering returning it and getting something a little less bulky.

I ended up with the best buy brand rockfish its the black hard shell very thin I like it . I tried like 8 different cases and this one fit the best that added the least amount of bulk

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Slim-D...61098194097&

This case keeps that slim sleek profile of the iPhone 5, has that matte texture feel so it won't be slippery and it's only $3!!!

Protects it enough for me to feel safe lugging around my iPhone 5.

This case on eBay looks like it's barely there which is a good thing, it's flush with the device and doesn't stick out in any way.

I am personally getting a case so I won't have any scratches and to protect the camera lens.

Plus I believe that it sticks out a little on the front so that if it fell face first or front corner, it would hit the case and not the glass since the glass IS NOT flush with the band like the website says.

So all in all this case is a winner for a lot of people
