The green iPhone 11 looks really good, I have to say!

Also loving the new Gold on the iPhone Pro. Finally without the pink hue!

My carrier has a good deal on the new 11. Unlimited plan + “free” AirPods for $49 a month. Just a tiny bit excited, but think I prefer my iPhone X. OLED is great, and I prefer the size.
 
I have a Product Red XR and I love the deep red of it, but the Product Red 11 looks lighter in some pictures and dark like the XR in others and now I’m not sure. If it was the same deep red as the XR I’d be all over that, but I may end up with black.

Hopefully my local carrier store has the Red on display again so I can compare.

I’ll be getting mine next month as I’d have to pay £420 to upgrade but my friend is buying my XR off me for £400 so only £20 for 9 months of XR usage is a winner in my books. Can’t wait for the ultra wide and night mode for my next holiday photos, the XR took some lush pictures and I image the 11 to be even better.

I was going for yellow and switched mine last minute to purple. But doing in store pick up. So we I get there was going to check it all out and I'll switch to yellow if that looks better to me in person. So far my store shows I can still get it on the 20th.
 
After a long consideration, I chose red. I have considered white but it seems too white like a cheap appliance. I would’ve picked white if it were more creamy white.

I ended up ordering a Pro but was all set for a green 11.
However I had a yellow XR and I think I prefer the yellow this time with its more muted shade.
I also prefer the less harsh red colour for this year too.

Honestly, I think they're all winning colours they just look fantastic.

Since the phones aren’t as back ordered as I feared, I might cancel my order before it ships so I can go look at the colors in person before ordering. I really wish they would put display models in store before preorders.

Some questions for Apple.

Why include the additional wide lens instead of the zoom lens in the iPhone 11? Clearly everyone cares about zooming in rather than wide angle shots. If they had gone the other way, ie normal plus zoom on the 11, I reckon many more people would not have gone for the Pro.

LCD vs OLED, got it ... OLED is better in day light but come on, taking the piss for another 600 AUD.

Ok well, I was torn by my decision of getting the yellow and figured that I was questioning it way too much. I ordered the black iPhone 11. I will return the yellow.
 
After owning many iPhones over the years, all black, space grey or white, I’ve opted for the iPhone 11 product red. Been wanting something with a bit of pop and think this will do the trick.

Last time I had a coloured phone was my Motorola KRZR K1 in high gloss Blue, those were the days :D

Agreed. I’m surprised it’s not an option this year. Is yellow really more popular that blue? I usually go for neutral colors on phones, but if they made a blue 11 Pro (similar to the shade they use on the iPod Touch), I might have gotten it.

I really wish blue was an option. I’m rather surprised by all the green responses here. These colors would be better if they were darker, at least for the green in my opinion. I guess purple as well. They went with a dark green for the pro, I wish they would have done the same for the 11. So I guess when I do get one it’ll be black.....again. Bleh.

if you go with the 11 pro the green is dark. if you go for just the 11 the green is more mint. i bet most of the ppl saying they went with green are the ones getting a pro variant.

I would tend to agree with you but there is a separate thread about color choice for the pro. The people who are getting the pro usually tend to make sure you know they are getting a pro.....because well....pro. And they are better, obviously. Lol

lol my bad, i read iphone 11 as all the iphones in general.

I’m convinced they limited good color choice to iPhone 11 to push customers to pro. I did consider that too as I didn’t like color choices for 11, although 350 dollar difference was too much to overcome.

I have a black coming and looking forward to it. But now and then, I secretly think about getting the red one. Wish I could be convinced otherwise.
