Do you have a white or black bezel on your iDevice? Some people say that the white border is distracting for gaming and movie watching but I wouldn't know since I've only had black thus far. For those with white, please share your insight into the previous queries.

I have both and I don't find the white bezel distracting at all while watching videos or movies.

I like the black bezel on iOS devices, so I chose space grey for my current iPad and iPhone. The black bezel just seems less of a distraction to me.

I think it really doesn't matter as you will become used to it. I used a white iPhone for a while and I was ok with it.

The more important issue is that the black version hides the camera and touch ID better than the white version.

I have matching devices, space gray iPhone 6 and iPad mini 2. If I was closer to an Apple Store and had more money to throw around I would love to try out white but just am too scared to to be honest lol. Back when I was going to get a 5S (But ended up getting an S4, BAD DECISION) I was thinking of getting a silver 5S. That ring for Touch ID looks really cool on the white bezel phones imo. :D

I personally don't like the look of a white 6 or 6 plus though, the bezels are too big. It looked great on the 5 series but now I think it looks a bit weird. White iPad still is a cool idea for me though.

White bezels are more noticeable, the black bezels seem to fade into the background.

I'm sure they do. ;)

I have iPads with both colors. The ones with black bezels seem better when watching TV. I can't pinpoint to any reason in particular, but I have heard (not sure where) that devices with black bezels have less glare. It's supposed to be similar to how athletes use eye black.

I tend to alternate between colors for iPhones (black 4, white 4s, space gray 5s, white 6) and iPads (original, white 2, black "new" iPad, white Air), and I can't say I've noticed a difference.

Black all the way for me. My wife has a white iPad Air, I find it hard to use, but it doesn't bother her in the least.
if I'm in a bright room, the white is distracting to me.

Black bezel master race reporting in.. I even stuck an ugly black plastic bezel on my MacBook Air because the silver drove me crazy.

Same for me. I used to have gold iPhone 5S it looks nice but I like Space grey color to match with black smart cover. Also I have a gray LG G Pad tablet with new leather smart case..Leather smells nice. :apple:

I hate to hear that. I'm getting my first Macbook Air on Monday. I bet I have to do the same. I havent even thought about that till you mentioned it.

white iphone, space gray ipad - i was also fearing, white bezels would distract me on the ipad (reflecting more light. also, lighter colors tend to draw more attention to them)

one other thing - once, after getting my first device with white bezels, i started to notice the black border between the visible screen and the bezels - and couldn't un-notice it for days - it just looked cheap to me. fortunately, i forgot about that and now i usually don't notice it any more.

I've had a black iPad 2, a black iPad 3, but this time I went with a gold iPad Air 2 and I really don't notice the white bezel much at all

I have a black bezel iPhone 6 and a white bezel iPad Air 2... I prefer to have an iPad with a white bezel because I don't notice the fingerprints on it so much.

Really for me all the bezels melt away when I am using the device. They are just not noticeable to me. I have had multiple colored iPads and iPhones and IMHO it really depends on the model. For instance, I think the 5 looked best in white/silver. 5s looked best in white/gold. 4/4s looked best in white. 3G/3GS and the 6/6 Plus look best in black (or Space Gray). 9.7" iPads look best with black bezels, while the mini looks good with either.

I wish I had gotten the Space Gray 6 Plus. I just didn't want to wait a month for delivery back in September. Definitely getting Space Gray in the next go-round. My Air 2 is Space Gray and very happy with my decision.
