I returned my black mini for a white one. Black is probably better for movies and games, but I found white better for reading and web browsing, which is what I mostly use it for.

I've had both colors. Always had black and after a while the need to change up happened and I got white. Both look good and neither are distracting to me. When I'm focusing on my screen that's all I see.

White on both my iPad Air 2 and iPad mini. I prefer white as I think it looks better. I watch a lot of videos on my iPads and I'm not distracted by the white border.

For the iPhone 5/iPad Air design language, white looks very classy. The chamfered edges, the silver TouchID ring, looks the shizzle.

iPhone 6 design language is ugly, so black is better as it hides some of the details.

My iPad 4 was black. My iPad Air is white. My iPhone 5/5S was white. My iPhone 6 is black. Having had plenty of experience with both on an phone and tablet, I don't find the bezels to be distracting at all. I will say the white does hide the finger prints better though.

Generally only black, but iPhone 5s looks so good with the white and silver combination.
