I think I'm going with Black. But the white and silver one really has me doubting my choice. It has the charm of the white & silver Classic but with a screen. ALso I'm sure the slight shadows the aluminum ring give the face plate will look a lot cooler and prominent in white (with any of the colors). But black is the one that makes the colors from the screen "pop" and the more "mature" looking device and color right? It's also more boring...

Argg, decisions...:rolleyes:

I'm just glad this thing came out, I've been waiting for this iPod for 3 years.

Why are you guys getting the black?

I'm in the same boat as you. The silver back but with a BLACK front would be my ideal choice.
 
Red for me. It is so vibrant that all the other colors look bland.

Is it only available for online purchases or will the Apple stores have it?
 
Am I blind? I dont see a white option, rather a silver.

I would pick the silver one its the only one that looks acceptable with a white front, black would also be considered but I've got so many black devices as it is I like to change it up.

Well Apple lists the that one as 'White & Silver', so I just shortened it to silver, and since it's the only one that has a completely white front, I just put it as white. *shrug*

If I could edit the poll to say White/Silver I would, because that seems to be confusing a lot of people. :rolleyes:
 
This was my major decision when buying my new iPod touch.

I like the Black/Slate colour, but I remember that when the 2011 4th gen Whie touch came out, I REALLY wanted to return my black one and get the white, I LOVED it, which was strange because I prefer the black iPhone and iPad designs.

I looked through the options and saw there was a (Product) RED model, and I love both the red colour and helping charity (I have a Red smart cover and a red Nano 6G). I also saw the Silver one which I thought would fit best w/ my iPad and Mac. The blue also was fairly pretty.

But I ultimately decided to get the Red. White front, dark back. Awesomeness.

(P.S. I'm colourblind, so it's weird for me to obsess over colours.)
 
I chose the white one because I personally like the look of the White, I have a Black iPhone 3G(Yes, I know it's old) and a Black New iPad and preferably, I like the color scheme of the White Touch but I'm still debating on whether or not I'll get the Touch or The New Nano 7th Generation, Either way, it's going to be the White Model.

Red is really nice, but it gets too tiring after a while... I'm down to 2 choices white/silver or white-blue?

I did consider whether I'd tire of the pink color. But, I've had my Kindle in a pink (different shade) cover for more than 2 years. And, I still love the cover. So, I'm betting I won't tire of the pink iPad. Still, I wish the touch was available in purple. :)

Wait, so the product red will only be available on their website? Also, do you know when the iPod Touch 5g will be available in the stores. I will be able to get one from October 6th to 10th will they be on the stores at that time? Thanks.
 
Per-ordered a black 64GB today. The black and slate seems the most tasteful and neutral of all the color choices and it kind of reminds me of the black iPod classic:)
 
Like the black on slate combo, but all of my headphones are white, so best go with the white/silver model. Gotta match!

Pre-ordered the 64gb White/Silver this afternoon from Amazon when they went up.
 
I LOVE that electric blue. The pink is a really nice shade, too, so maybe that (to spare my retinas). The rest? Nope.

Ugh they're so THIIIIN. Just looking at them is making me giddy!
 
Interesting..those pictures actually make the product more attractive than the digital ones @ the Apple site. All of them look pretty good.
 
So since I sadly cannot change the decision I've made, I'll just state it here but as soon as the iPod Touch 5G does come out, I have decided that I will be getting it in yellow instead of Slate or White, I prefer the yellow now that I've seen actual photos of it. Whether I get the Touch or the New Nano, I'm getting it in Yellow, if an orange was available I would get that since my 5th Gen nano is orange but since there isn't, I'll go with the next best thing.
 
People are saying the black iPhone gets scuff (?) or silver scratches.. Will it be the same with the iPod touch I wonder? It will, won't it? Darn it, guess the only choice left is silver/white.

Wow, that just made sense! Okay, I'm definitely getting black. I have black earphones and I have a white 4g so want to switch it up a bit. The white is also starting to look tiring to me... Black looks clean and will be better for watching movies and playing games...

The downside of the black bezels is that they will show fingerprints, and scratches, much quicker than the white version. That's why I switched to white devices a few years back if possible. ;)
 
After much deliberation, I changed my order from a 32gb Black to a 64gb blue.

I am sure I am not the only one having a hard time deciding which one to get!
They all look good..I like the white front though, and I guess it will be the part I look at the most.
