But then I started looking at it in comparison with the black, the white just looks like any other 4/4S head-on. The white/silver in the back is pretty nice but it started looking ordinary compared to the black. The black is nice. The entire thing is dark, including the metal band, it's really sleek. I like the uniformity. The white one is basically like the 4/4S except for the silver mid-back. If the black kept the same design as well, I would've chosen the white.

The thing is that I loved the white iPhone 4 and the white iPhone 5 is beautiful. I chose my white iPad because it looked GREAT with the aluminum and the white iPhone 5 does too.

Well then, it's up to you. You seem to love white. So, just get white. With the black, it looks more a "new" iPhone because it's color is different than before - if that matters you. At the Apple store, I couldn't tell which was an iPhone 4/4S white and which was an iPhone 5 white from a distance.

While the black/slate iPhone 5 is very stealthy and cool looking, I personally think the white one is the better looking of the two. And the white will do better in the long run with scratches and what not.

I currently own the white 16GB......and my god I love it.

Anyways, wanted a white before it came out but ended up getting the black, love the overall sleek and stealthy look. If you want more attention drawn to your phone, then go white. Would be funny if after all this you go and cover it up with a bulky case, lol.

Actually, in this case, black scratches are far more visible ("scuff gate")

I like white more than the black. In my opinion, white gives you more premium look than black. Also it does not show fingerprints more. Black is seems to be boring for me now. But afterall, decision is yours. Good luck.

This is another of those threads where people ask which colour they should choose so don't complain.

Buy both or flip a coin if you really can't decide. Polling is never the way to determine one's preference.

If you really want opinions and you know there are existing threads then go read the existing threads. Why do you think this thread will be any different from all the countless prior threads on the same topic?
