What colour should I paint my room?

that dark red room is going to be very dark, especially if you don't have alot of light in that room (my current room was previously a dark red and it looked depressing). although the orange with white trims could work...

No orange for me.
Thanks for replies guys. I will post the pictures of my room when it's finished in a week or two. I will start on it next week.

Sorry for the double post but my room is finished now after much thinking about what colour to choose.
It's painted caterpillar green. It's pretty much like a green room where people relax before or after stage performances now. The green is not too dark and not too light. Just the right balance.

Orange. Its actually really cheery. I have my bedroom that color but we're in the process of moving and we just finished painting so the apartment is all neutral colors like beige, a soft brown and "cornhusk green" but I was able to pick a crazy color and that would be Aurora Orange. Sample below. Its pretty bright but deep so its not so in your face. The only problem I have with it because its a deep base, it makes the room look a little small. But other then that its a conversation piece. And I also trimmed it with white.

I don't know. I don't really like orange for a bedroom colour, maybe the living room or kitchen will be fine with orange. I am also planning on colouring my entire house. I am pretty much set with green with my bedroom though.
I also thinking about painting my toilet (bathroom) blue.
