just two

Commodore 64 , Amiga 500

Never liked any of my windows computers (I liked dos though).
I will never sell my ibook or my macbook. They don't take that much room to keep and both will still look great when I am old.

My 128K Mac (upgraded to a Plus). Actually, it was my wife's computer before we got married. I was in grad school at the time ('91). We owned an SE, and we figured that we didn't need two machines. Given that the SE was more "expandable," we stuck with it and sold the the 128K/Plus. We kept that SE for 7 more years, btw. I used it as a luggable on some of my research trips. Never did end up using the slot.

Is it safe to say then that the 12" PB line was the best product line from Apple ever?

My regret may be different from the regret expressed by others in this thread. I regret selling my original Bondi blue iMac for a lime green iMac (Rev. A for Rev. B). Don't ask me why, but the extra 33 Mhz seemed really important to me at the time:eek:

This is shaping up to be an "ode to my 12" powerbook" thread

I know! It shows how great they were.

I regret selling my 12" 1.33 GHz PowerBook too. The hard drive died, and it was in the middle of my final year at uni, and I couldn't risk buggering it up by replacing it myself so I sold it and and bought an iBook (which by then had been bumped up to 1.33 GHz as well). Which is still going strong, and so on, and it was probably the right decision but I do miss the PowerBook. It was beautiful.

Yikes, all this talk about the 12" PB has me looking on craigslist for used ones :D

I really liked my G4 450 Sawtooth and while I wouldn't be using it, I wonder if the $$ I got for it is worth more than the nostalgia. Of course my wife saw it as a waste of space.

Oh boy, I've got a lot of my regrets, my favorite mac of all time was my 800MHz G4 iBook, then probably by 466MHz iBook clamshell. I also got rid of a dual 867MHz MDD last year and I'm wishing i still had it... but this summer I might be getting a new 8-core mac pro, so that'll make up for it!

I regret selling my iBook G3 600MHz. It was still fully usable with 10.2.x, but the money I got for it was a down payment on my PB 12". Still, looking back, it would be nice to have.

I also miss my iMac 400MHz DV SE. Oh, well.
