I am in my 6th year of working towards a BS in Bible, minor in Worship and Performing Arts (I'm on the 10 year plan since I have a family and already work in what I am going to school for, ha ha!). I plan to get a masters in either Worship and Performing Arts or Education.

lol, awesome that I saw this thread.

I literally just framed my degree. Got it in the mail this morning and framed it about half an hour ago. B.S. in Mathematics

my goal is to be an actuary, so my next step is to complete the rest of the actuarial exams that I need to take :)

Broadcast Media - I want to ultimately be a cameraman.

(Yes, I was the "creative" kid in the family, my brothers doing medicine)

BS in Chemical Engineering.

God it is terrible.

I just graduated this year with an MEng in Chemical Engineering. What year are you in? The first two years were pretty much pure theory and not much fun at all. The 3rd and 4th years were good though.

I am a month from an AS in Computer Science and once I get that I'll be working towards a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology. :D

I school three nights a week for four hours a class 10 weeks at a time with no breaks in between. It's a lil stressful but it works for me.

I'm in my final year of A levels, next year I hope to go and do a BA in Politics.

Lots of computer science people here!

I was outside for while this weekend, and achieved my 1st degree burn.

If you don't like it, flame away. :0)

I had hopes and dreams of becoming an Oral Surgeon, but unfortunately, they were crushed yesterday. It's really tough wanting to do something so bad, but not being able to do it.

I have this VERY slight tremor in my hands.
My father has it too.

It's nothing real noticeable, but if I'm holding up my phone or something and showing someone a picture, sometimes they will be like, "Why is your hand shaking?"

I guess it's a little embarrassing, but it's absolutely devastating that I can't be the surgeon that I've always wanted to be since I was 12.

So, as of now, I have absolutely no clue what I want to do with my life.

Everything happens for a reason, right?

Thankfully I'm no longer working towards my degree, all that is behind me. Though they were some pretty good years. Even though I think we've had this type thread before, here's the little 'ole CV.

B.S. Engineering Physics - Colorado School of Mines
M.S. Materials Engineering - CSM
PhD. Materials Science - UC Santa Barbara

Best 11 years of my life!

I guess right now I would say 45 degree. Is that sitting position? I'm working on getting my child to sit on the potty. I would like to achieve that degree. Any suggestions would be very helpful.:eek::eek:

I think this requires more patience than getting my degree ugh!!!

My current college track degree is Human Resources Management

As a human resources manager, you will motivate, develop, and direct staff and identify the best candidates to hire or promote. Other positions in the human resources manger area include compensation and benefits managers, property or community association managers, and training and development managers. Average annual earnings of human resources managers were over $66,000 in 2004.

Current average is $79,686 - source

Usually managers are only found in bigger companies, and hopefully I can work for a "cool" company or something I'd be interested in such as Hockey team :p or maybe a car company (Porsche!!), even a Pharmaceutical Company.

After being hired for HRM, will look to get certified as...

HRIS Manager
Manages and oversees an organization's HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems). Develops, implements, and modifies system requirements. Maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Identifies training needs of end users and develops and provides the necessary training to meet those needs. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to top management.

Average Salary around Pittsburgh $90,213 :) - source

Currently working on a(n) M.A. in Experimental Psychology. Will be done in December.

Plan to start on my Ph.D. in Experimental Neuropsychology (I hope) in Fall '09.

I am currently working on my radiography degree. After that is done, I will work on getting a certificate to operate either CT or MRI machines.
