My combo is my silver iPhone 5s and my new space gray iPad mini 2!!! I think it's the PERFECT combo (at least for me :D )

Macbook Air 13" (2013) - for the real work
iPad Air 1 - great for reading for work and fun
Nexus 5

I might be a bit weird but I take all 3 devices with me to work every day. I really like using the iPad and the macbook air together. It is great to be able to reference something on the iPad and take notes on the Macbook.

Honorable mention - Nexus 7 (2013) - still a great little tablet but compared to the iPad I just have so little use for it...:(

32gb iPad air
64gb six plus
2012 i5 Mac mini hooked to tv. Setup as plex server and back up machine.
A. C. Wireless AirPort Extreme.

This combo seems great for me.

Lol yeah - it's really quite a nice device, and it feels a lot smaller than the 6+ in your pocket. Some really great features too, kinda feels like a mini computer more than a phone.

Just wanna ask how does it feel in the hands and in the pocket. ;)

Great in the hands - although I have bigger hands being 6'2, I find I can reach around 80% of the screen one-handed, and typing one-handed also isn't an issue (although it's much more convenient to type 2-handed). It's around the same weight as the 6+, seems heavier though as it's more compact, yet it's far less slippery as the back is a soft, grippy matte finish. Basically I find with all big devices like this, you learn to hold them one-handed with three fingers supporting the back, your pinky as the base, and thumb on the front.

Had the Note 3 and briefly had the 6+ before getting it, and one of the main reasons was that I work in construction and I'm fairly active at work. Bending over with the 6+ and/or Note 3 in your pocket is an awful experience as it digs into your side due to its height - so on that front the PP is nicer as it doesn't feel any different from the 4-4.5inch devices in your pocket - you don't notice the width at all in your pocket.

Overall it really does feel smaller than the 6+, both in hand and pocket, with its 128/90.3/9.3mm dimensions compared to the 6+'s 158.1/77.8/7.1mm dimensions.

My device combo is all over the place though, doubt if you're deep into apple's ecosystem that getting a PP would make much sense - but I do think, after using it for a month, that many reviewers didn't really give it a fair shake just because it's Blackberry.

  • 2010 MacBook Pro 13'
  • 64GB iPhone 6 (on my third replacement; need to exchange it AGAIN as the screen is separating from the frame)
  • 16GB iPad Air 2 (waiting for Best Buy to get the 64; there's a flaw under the screen so I'm exchanging for that)
