I've asked for a book on the Spanish Civil War, but I have a suspicion I'm getting a DS Lite :D :D :D

Thick envelope in the mail!

All I want for Christmas... is an acceptance letter from Princeton University :D

(I applied early-decision, and should be hearing back from them via post around December 15)

Wish me good-luck, everyone! :)

Good Luck on your acceptance to Princeton!

I haven't asked for anything. I got what I wanted last month. A 20" imac. I don't need anything else.

Well, I asked for a 30D with a 70-200 f2.8L, grip, 100mm Macro and ringflash, but I think I'll have to ask for a new pair of over-the-ear headphones to make sure I actually get something :p
But honestly I'd rather spend some quality time with my girlfriend than get presents... we only see each other about 3 hours a week when we're in regular classes, so a nice camping trip would be just great!

As for giving to other people, I'm part of a group that is rounding up toys to give to the less privileged children at hospitals :)

24 season 5
Rainbox Six Vegas for 360
Daniel Tosh and Demetri Martin's comedy CD's

I'm also gonna be at our condo in Arizona on the 26th so I might be getting a few new cloth items as well.

Dear Santa,

Please bring me a Samsung Blackjack or a Blackberry Pearl (and $500/year for data!) And a slingbox. Watching F1 on a phone during sermon? Nearly priceless.

Canon 400d (Not Getting)
Mac Pro (Not Getting)
Nintendo Wii (Maybe :) )
Sennheisser CX300 White (Arrived The Other Day)
New Messenger Bag (Been Bourght)
Griffin Powermate (Ordered but not in stock :()
This Shirt (Ordered But coming from US to UK)

In my wishlist: Brunette supermodel ninja assassin with good sense of humour.

Apart from that I haven't really got any gift wishes. I buy myself what I want for the rest of the year so it's hardly as though Christmas gifts are a big deal. I enjoy what I do get though, most of my friends and family seem to be creative gift-givers, whereas I usually buy the big stuff they want. Some of my mates though are truly terrible.

"Lynx(Axe)? You really didn't have to... I don't know what to say."

I don't think I'm getting anything for Christmas, I wanted a painting, but the wife wanted a house.

She's getting a house, I'm getting nothing. Although I will get to play with my daughters presents, she's getting Brio Networkers, she's lucky.

O2 XDA Exec (Impossible)
Archos 504 160GB (Nearly impossible)
A hard drive video camera (Highly unlikely)
A camera (Unlikely)
A Pelican case to hold my goods in (Likely)
Guinness Book of World Records (Definite)

A B&O hifi, as shown below (but with Bowers & Wilkins speakers, which I already have).

BeoMaster 6500 & BeoGram CD7000. :D

I haven't asked for anything. Both sides of my family have all decided that Christmas is crazy with rushing around spending loads on each other, so we're just all doing £5 presents this year. I feel more excited, I think, because I think everyone's got each other some cool stuff, and shopping's been so much less stressful and a certain amount of the proceeds are getting ploughed back into wine for Christmas day. :D

However, my birthday's just after Christmas, so I'll be sure to be dropping some book-related hints then, I think.

nothing

but i would like to get some CA$H. are you listening/reading santa claus? hope you are!

I usually don't ask for stuff, but this year I asked for a Kindle Paperwhite and a pair of Oakley sunglasses.
