I arrived at Comp USA in San Rafeal, CA at 12:05 am. There was no line,
I just walked right in. Got everything I needed quickly, and got in line while
it was still short. I had heard about the iBooks for 750.00, but I figured I
could pretty much get that price anytime from Amazon when you factor the $100.00
rebate and no sales tax. Plus I wanna see what happens at Macworld.
Here's what I did get:
Keyspan Infra-red remote: $19.95
50-pack Memorex 16X DVD-R printable: $14.95
25-pack Memorex DVD+R DL $49.95
Belkin 7-port USB 2 hub:$29.95
I made it back to the local watering hole in plenty of time for last call,
then went home, played with the Keyspan remote, and got it fully functional
with Front Row on my Rev B iMac

(purchased 4 months before Rev C).
Much better than using the Bluetooth keyboard!
I later drove down to Best Buy and arrived at 4:55. There were perhaps
600 people in line, and I was tempted to go home. (it was raining lightly)
But the line really started moving, and I was in the door in about 10 minutes.
I knew what I wanted, and didn't waste any time. I got in line about 7 minutes
after entering the store and had only 10 people in front of me with all registers open.
Here's what I got:
Box set of Season 1 of the TV show 24: $19.95 (normally $57.95)
Box set of Season 2 of the TV show 24: $19.95
Box set of Season 3 of the TV show 24: $19.95
1 GB PNY USB II flash drive: $19.95 (normally $119.95)
I went back in about 20 minutes later, and walked around a bit.
By the time I left, the cashier line was unbelievably long, and most people
had a ton of stuff. I would guess probably a 2 hour wait to get through by then.
