What did you do with your Ram after upgrading to 4 gigs?

My GF has a MB that only had 512mb, so I put the 2gigs in hers and it is now not painfully slow.

I'm going to put on eBay when I have a moment. I have sent my MBP in for repair with the extra RAM installed. They checked everything out as they didn't know what was wrong with it, I did not have to put the old ram that came in my computer back in though

If you take it to an apple service provider, they probably will overlook 3rd party RAM as long as you're having an unrelated issue.

ebay... i ended up making like 20 bucks on it. And I just looked it at this way.. new RAM = 100 bucks, old RAM give me 20, so i effectively paid 80 for the new RAM

All current Intel Macs except the Mac Pro use identical RAM.
