What did you get ingraved on your ipod?

i think you spelled engraved wrong.. and on mine, i didnt get anything because when you sell it, it makes it easier if theres no engraving.

not sure why because i don't think I'm ever going to use it in my car. Just got it because it was free. Also because I don't plan on selling it.

Happy Birthday 14.03.2004" -That was the b-day I got a 3G 20GB iPod. It was so great value back then to get the dock, remote and carry case.

I was going to get my cell phone number engraved on my mini when we ordered back in Feb 2004, but since I'm from Norway and don't have an american credit card Apple Store US turned us down. Since the mini was still almost 6 months away from being released in Europe we ordered from CompUSA, who was more than happy to ship to Norway, but they didn't offer any engraving. Small annoyance, easily forgotten when we got our minis way before "everybody else" on this side of the Atlantic ocean. :D

my iPod "saved" me from spending too much time studying. and from having too much cash in my wallet after i started buying songs from the music store.

I got it because that is the line from my favorite commercial (Apple), and as a homage to a couple of friends and myself, who all had a horrible year one time and went crazy together.

What did i get engraved? I had a very complex series of what appears to the normal person as scratches.....but it is really the answer to Life, Universe, and Everything.......ahhh how i wish douglas adams was around, died at 40, how tradgic, but at least he died with a ac in his possesion, an dloved them very dearly (*pictures douglas in heaven partying with steve jobs in the next 50-60 years.....*)

Niiiiice. I would have gotten something, (maybe 42 :p ) but didn't want to lower its resale value.

Funny-- I was actually wondering what will get on my ipod when I order it, and I was leaning towards:

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be crazy by those who could not hear the music."

I just checked and it looks like it won't fit...alas.

What does engraving look like on a black iPod?
