My wife needed a new computer since her iMac G4's was getting more than a bit old -

so I bought her a new aluminum MacBook,
a 24" ACD to dock to (and to watch her Colin Firth films on)
a set of Logitech Z-2300 speakers
a WD 1 TB external drive for Time Machine backups, iTunes library, etc.

Santa gave my three kids an iMac, to share. Plus my son got a Nano and an iHome IP99 clock radio. My one daughter got a Nintendo DS ,games, and accessories. My other daughter got assorted Leapfrog items, a razor scooter, and a kids digital camera..............

G/f didn't put any thought into anything except running away, she wanted to just take me to the mall and buy me something, but I veto'd that. I don't want 'stuff' or 'hey, buy me this!'. I gave $2000 to a family who just lost their father four days ago, he left behind a wife and 3 daughters. I also put together a huge food basket for them.

Paid a bill.

Made her dinner yesterday.

Brought dinner home from favorite veg restaurant last Friday (after she got not so good news from eye doctor.)

Bought her a gift card to same restaurant whenever she wants to go.

Did every last chore over the past 5 days.

Tried not to run out of the room when she watched a violent nature show (I hate seeing animals die in the wild.)

Brother-in-law:

Hand crank radio just in case.

Replaced their Monopoly and another game that was lost during Sandy (Sis wanted these replaced.)

Other sister does not celebrate Christmas. She thinks Birthdays are much more important, so I respected her wish.
