The Apple Cinema 23" over here.

It's the best monitor I've ever had up until now and still one of the nicest I've ever seen.

There's a 20" ACD in the other room that I got when they were discontinued.
Maybe someday I'll put it up here. I did use try using two monitors once but didn't like it a lot.

My previous nice monitor was a 19" Sony. It was actually OK but the ACD is better and bigger too. Having it next to the ACD was more of a distraction than a help.

Have Fun,
Keri

I've got a Dell 3008WFP and two Dell E248WFP at the moment.

Though I'm thinking that two 24's are a bit of overkill so I will most likely offload those shortly. But I might get a portrait mode screen to sit next to the 3008.

I have Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP, i wan't a apple cinema display but with my GTX285..... :(

Something I realized kinda of late is that I didn't need to have bought a special rotating monitor, but that any monitor with VESA mounts can be easily rotated and mounted (I use 2 desk clamp mounts from Monoprice) since the VESA mounting scheme is 4 holes in a square, pretty easy to rotate them 90 degrees and be set.

So now my rotating Dell 24" is re-tasked as a TV (in landscape mode of course) and I have two cheaper LCDs in portrait, flanking my 30". 1920 vertical pixels is awesome for browser/document viewing.

I run two Dell SP2208WPFs on the Mac Pro and one Dell S2409WB for the MacBook/XBOX 360/PS3. I have all three side by side. I use a big fabric table as my work station. It was the only thing I could find that would fit all my gear :D

30" ACD. Definitely the bigger speed bump than more processors ore ram. ;)
Best piece of electronic I've ever bought. Stunning image, stunning design, stunning build quality.

Unfortunately I missed the time they sold the last 20 or 23" displays. Still searching for some fancy displays to flank the big one.

I agree 100%. Biggest speed bump in workflow for me was 30" ADC as well. I never have thought it'd be a better buy than a CPU upgrade but it is.

Yeah I had kinda thought about just getting some mounts. By my anal retentive nature wants to have a screen that has the same 'vertical' resolution as the 3008. But I don't think that will happen.

So maybe I will just go with mounts.

Two Dell 2001FPs. I imagine a 30" will be added to this mix within the next year. Mmm...4960x1600 pixels of wholesome display goodness.

HP 24" w2408.... BUT:

...seems here's the right place to ask this... perhaps someone could help:

I'm trying to decide whether getting a second 24" display that matches my current one, or getting a couple of 25.5" displays... both basically the same specs, and both with 1920x1200 resolution (HP brand / TN panels though - nothing too fancy as I don't do color correction).

So.... How will the quality of the image compare between the 24" and the 25.5"? what differences should I expect from the 1.5 extra inch? ... since both have the same resolution, I worry that the images on the 25.5 will be a bit less sharp or crisp than the 24" - same amount of pixels in a larger area...

I've searched this, but found nothing. And I cant see both displays side by side, since they are from different online sellers.

Thanks for your help!

Since most people don't include their display of choice in their profile, I thought I would throw this out there to get an idea.

It's a pity I can't select more than one option on the poll.

Currently I have three displays; two of them happen to be 30" Dells and one 30" ACD in the middle. Originally, I wanted all three of them to be Cinema Displays but they're kinda restrictive due to their lack of inputs.

How are the Dells compared to the ACD?
They look pretty nice, even if they aren't build that good. But what about the image quality?

Awesome setup, UltraNEO*. I wish I had enough desk space for something like that. Unfortunately, I'm in a studio and a single 3007WFP-HC is all I can have...

I wish I would've waited and purchased one of the 30" monitors with more inputs, but, overall, I'm very happy with the image and desktop real estate. It was a huge leap from my previous 24".

I have 2x 24" Acers right now, but thinking about going to a single (or dual if my wallet permits it eventually) 30" setup.

Can anyone suggest a place to get a good 30" displays for the absolute best price possible? I've seen some for ~$800 on eBay, but even that for an LCD is stretching it.
