What do you expect with S8?

If they do not come out with a more square and flat option, something a bit more rugged, I am done with Apple Watch. I absolutely hate the soft corners and the thick "bubble up" glass. The Apple Watch hasn't really changed look the last years, and if what all the pundits promised last year had happened, I would have been on that like white on rice.

In all fairness:

1. Pundits did state it was either square edges on the S7 or S8.
2. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
3. How is the current design "not rugged"?
4. Change is relative, lots of new features from the S0

It’s all just a guess at this point. I think the S7 was the same battery and processor as the S6 (I welcome confirmation or correction/clarification on this). I was planning on getting the S7 but when it seemed to be exactly the same as the S6 (other than the minuscule increase in screen real estate) I decided to hold off. It won’t take much for me to buy an S8. As long as it’s not the same processor and battery then count me in. If they happened to get blood glucose monitoring (which I know is incredibly unlikely at this point), I would be buying a watch for everyone in my family.

new design is everything to me ... will upgrade from my S2 *finally* ?? .. but it's still working - pretty impressive after all the years ?
