But I guess most CPUs shut down if they are too hot, but some actually melt themselves due to by thermometers.
I use to have a wall of death here at work that had exploded/burn/smashed electronics nailed/pinned to it--burnt cpus are common 😉.
My prized piece was done by an old coworker. He took the top plate off of an old HD and then used the power plug and converter from an external cd-writer to give it power--we now have a spinning shiny HD disk on our wall 😎.
