It's this damn coating that Apple put on the high res. glossy screens for the iMac. If you try and wipe it, the cloth kind of "Drags" or catches...I end up moving the crud around and not removing it....Has anybody found a way around this?

I'm not too sure about putting iklear on the high res. Apple advise against this but they don't say how to clean it apart from the steps I take now...(which do not work...)

I just use a microfiber cloth... Works on all the glossy screens (iPhone, MacBook Pro, iMac etc). It does smudge at first, but you need to keep rubbing and rubbing and it will come out shiny :)

A 1:1 mixture of rubbing alcohol and purified water sprayed from a tiny little spray bottle I got for 2 dollars. Darn cheap, and super effective, as well as safe. Only about 1/3 into the little spray bottle after 3 months, and still have almost an entire bottle of rubbing alcohol left that only cost $1.29 for the entire bottle.

Edit: Just realized I already posted before (kind of old thread, i forgot), sorry!
