Well, since there was only one choice available, it has to be the iTV. This is what I've been waiting for Apple to release, so I'm really excited about it. :)

Other things I'll be buying is:

Leopard
iLife '07
iPhone (if the price is right)

Other:

all i want is a 24'' imac 2gb ram and nvidia 7600
hopefully ill have the money saved up by the time leopard is preinstalled
waiting is the most painful part
i contemplated selling my vehicle today for imac money :p

A midrange headless Mac!

Call it a midtower or whatever, but a headless, expandable Mac based on the Conroe or Kentsfield processors that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

It ticks me off that Dell can offer a mid-tower system with the following specs:
2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo (Conroe)
250 Gig HD
2 Gig RAM
NVidia 256 meg 7900GS
16X DVD-RW

For ~$1300 and Apple doesn't even have anything CLOSE to those specs for that price...

ok... rant over for now...

iLife '07
Leopard
iPod Nano (RED) if Santa doesn't deliver
20" iMac on next upgrade

iPhone (if price is right or if current phone gives out)
iWork '07 (if new features entice)
iPod shuffle (if I actually start working out regularly)
iTV (if # of movies at iTunes store increases greatly, subscription option is announce and they have the Criterion Collection)

Has to be Leopard, but I'll update to iLife '07 when it arrives. Currently running '05 so I think the update will be worth it.

Me I will be buying
mac mini using c2d
macbook pro (either santa or as is, depends how desperately I need a laptop)
probably add on some little extras to go with it like bt mouse and keyboard etc
but I'm holding off until atleast jan to see if ilife 07, iwork 07 and other updates come out, may even wait till leopard if I can be patient

I will be buying Leopard and I could possibly be buying...

iTV
iLife 07
iWork 07

As far as the iPhone, it wouldn't until way later in the year, I'm sure. My current phone is still in too good of shape.:(

I don't see myself wanting to upgrade my iPod, I rarely watch videos on it as it is, it's more of a portable DVD player for me. (The iPod AV cable is the best 19 dollars I spent in my entire life)

I guess iLife 07 will be included in Leopard...or not?

sorry, dude, but not.

for me, i hope to purchase an iphone and maybe a mac mini to accompany my hdtv. i also plan to get ilife 07, iwork 07 and leopard (maybe i should have just waited a bit to get my macbook  )

i will wait to see if leopard worth the money, no plan for others, ooo, i might have to buy applecare next year too.

definitely a quad core mac and leopard. i like skipping to every 2nd new OS.

just have to start saving the pennies :)

I hope to buy from Apple in 2007:

- Leopard
- Apple Cinema Display 20"
- iPod Shuffle 2G
- Final Cut Express

The newest iLife is always included in the new OS, so yes, iLife '07 will be a part of Leopard. Also, when a new iLife is released, it begins shipping with the current OS.

Not totally correct...

iLife and Leopard are two completely seperate products that will just happen to be bundeled on new Macs.

What will happen is that come January iLife '07 will be introduced. Soon after all new Macs will ship with it (and Tiger). Some people may find iLife '06 installed and the '07 installation disks in the box (quickly added before dispatch). They will have to install iLife 07 themselves. This happened when i bought my G4 1.42 Mini - newer iLife install disks in the box.

Then - say around March-April Leopard ships. Within weeks all new Macs will ship with both Leopard and iLife '07.

However, if you buy the Leopard upgrade to install on a machine you own already, then you will not get iLife '07. You have to buy iLife '07 as a seperate upgrade. When I put Tiger on that Mini it did not upgrade iLife. Leopard will be no different.

ILife is not part of OS X.

why was there not an "all of the above" option. For me, Leopard, iphone, computer (for my parents), some airport stuff (with new n capabilities), and some other cool stuff with a bitten apple logo on it.

A MacBook and an iMac well the iMac is less likely to happen than the MacBook I think. And of course Leopard.

I hope to buy nothing from Apple in 2007, if I do have to buy something that means something (my MBP or iPod) broke.

In addition to another iPod (she got the first one  ) I will definitely be getting Leopard, and then maybe look at an ADC membership. Two out of three will be good, though.
