Had it in the middle for the S3. and changed it to max on my S4, because the saphire screen reflects a bit more.
Where do you see "auto" as a choice?Auto brightness always for me. Works like a charm.

I haven't come across an option to disable the ambient light sensor.
I believe the ambient light sensor is always turned on no matter what you set, so 100% in a dark room is not as bright as 100% outdoors in the sun.
There's no manual setting for auto brightness (On or Off) - it's based on the ambient light sensor.I'm curious if or where the auto option is as I've not seen that. I have my AW 4 set to minimal brightness. I only have 3 options. Minimal which seems plenty bright to me, let's call it 50% or Full.
I have aroung 80% brightness on all my devices. Perfectly fine for me.think 100% maybe too bright. What you set yours to? the default that came with the watch?
How do you set it to auto brightness? I set mine 1/3 but it works in auto mood. I want to close it.Auto brightness always for me. Works like a charm.
Is yours AW4? If so, there is no Auto setting for Brightness. How do you set it to auto brightness? I set mine 1/3 but it works in auto mood. I want to close it.
Yes, mine is S4. Since it works in auto brightness, what is the point for to set up the brightness in S4 watches? Is yours AW4? If so, there is no Auto setting for Brightness.
